My thoughts exactly...which team we talking about here??

Well the user's name is "rebelman", so I'm assuming he means Allen Central who are the Rebels.

Who are their transfers and what are their past stats

tyler keens running back preston thacker running back tyler came from prestonburg preston came from betsy layne and a chase boy a linebacker or d line from maggoffin co. the previous season went 2-8 but are re-doing everything and with 2 extra sr. on the team I think it will be a good season for them predicting 8-2 complete turn around

I don't know as much as I used to about Allen Central but, I'm thinking the best possible outcome for them will be 5-5.

This will be Tyler's 2nd if not 3rd year at Allen Central. 2nd I know for sure.

I would say that you definitely know more than me but, this is my breakdown. Now, this is just my opinion.
Guaranteed wins: East Ridge, Jenkins, Phelps, Knott Central
Guaranteed losses: Magoffin Co, Betsy Layne, Pineville, Pikeville
Questionable: Paintsville and South Floyd

Both ER and Jenkins will be better than guaranteed wins for Allen Central
07-04-2013, 10:14 AM
There is no such thing as a guaranteed win when your talking about Allen Central football. Football is a numbers game and AC just doesnt have the numbers to compete.
07-07-2013, 09:50 PM
i think betsy layne and maggoffin co. are questionable but everyone has there own opinion
07-07-2013, 11:12 PM
Are you telling me rebel man that AC can reverse a 51 to 8 game? Betsy Layne is returning most of their team too!
Good Luck to them!

Betsy Layne is probably going to have one of the best teams that they have ever had so, other than Pikeville, BL is the most guaranteed loss on the schedule for Allen Central.

you gotta think toni dirco zack tackett and josh salisbury was a big part of the offense an defense but i think its going to be a very good/close game

Nothing against the three you mentioned. All are great athletes and were valuable to last years team. However, these three are replacable. The backs weren't dynamic, each had their own strengths nevertheless, and the bobcats have probably already filled these holes. JMO

:howdy: this is nice to hear sports fans talking about allen central football. :welcome:

For sure that ac is getting a running back/wide receiver from Indiana, his father was a D3 college football coach and the boy runs a 4.51 40 yard dash
08-08-2013, 02:11 PM
And we have a transfer lineman from cordia
08-08-2013, 07:08 PM
Cordia had a football team?
08-08-2013, 10:13 PM
He played football when he went to Betsy layne and moved to cordia to play basketball, then moved to Ac to play both

Rebels focusing on positives, not negatives in 2013
EASTERN, Ky. (WYMT) - We continue to provide sneak peaks into our preseason high school football interviews, and Tuesday, the Allen Central Rebels stopping by to talk about the 2013 season.
Following a 2011 season that saw Allen Central host a first round playoff game, the Rebels took a step backwards last year, finishing just 2-9 and head coach Jeremy Hall says his team has to do a better job of focusing on the positives and not dwelling on the negatives.
"I think one of the major challenges that we had to face was actually drawing some good out of some things, squeezing out the good things and building on top of those," says Hall, who is entering his 11th season as Allen Central head coach. "Sometimes you get caught up on what we're doing wrong and I believe we spent a lot of time worrying about those instead of what we're doing right. I think we've done a lot of good things at Allen Central over the last couple of years and we might have went away from the a little bit, so hopefully we'll build on those good things and go from there."

Allen Central really struggled last year. It is hard for me to believe that they could reverse it in one year. 4 or 5 wins would be a successful campaign.
