has anyone been to any of their games so far? i've been hearing that they are still undefeated and have beaten boyd, greenup, russell, and rowan. lot of talk around some of last year's freshman who will now be sophomores and how well they are playing. just wondering if anyone has seen them first hand and could give me some feedback. seems like LC has a good group of kids and coaching staff willing to put in the time and effort.

They are playing a summer league they have played 6 games. They play one 7 inning game that counts in league standings they are currently 6 and 0 in the 7 inning games and 6 and 1 in the 5 inning games. They beat boyd co, rowan co, greenup co, russel, and prestonsburg last night. The shortstop #8 has really been crushing the ball he has multiple doubles & several triples. He is probably batting in the high 600 or low 700. The turner kid and the coverdale kid have also steped it up. The big weekness right now is at catcher they are working with a couple different kids right now but it has been a problem so far. They have a summer tournament this weekend with johnson central, harrison co, and huntington high at lc. Should be a fun weekend.

Lawrence County ended up this week with wins over Wayne, Wv, Johnson Central, and Huntington High, Wv. I was told the Bulldogs finished up undefeated in league play.

Not sure if it was leauge came or not but lost to boyd co at boyd co last week.
