So with the season having ended for all but 16 teams, what head coaching position are coming open or rumored to come open?
Webster County
Estill County is rumored to come open but no one knows for sure what's gonna happen.
Perry Central is also rumored to come open
I wouldn't be surprised if Wolfe County came open

Why would Dixon leave PCC? He has been there since Dilce-M.C. consolidated. Four regional championships, and in the hunt almost every year. They only lost to LCC 2-0 in the regional tournament this year with not nearly as much talent.

He did a great job with Spencer County in his last season as a head coach. They were a good team this year, 1 win away from their first ever state tournament appearance.

What's the word on the Hazard,Knott,and Breathitt jobs? Usually every year these schools mention changes and rumors begin to fly.Heard Wolfe would possibly be open also as mentioned before.

^ Didn't know Hazard and Knott were open? If another 14th region school or another school close to Mt. Sterling comes open then I could possibly see Gene Combs putting in for it

Don't think that they are.Usually every summer,coaching change rumors begin to circulate with these.I personally haven't heard that any vacancies have occurred in the 14th yet.

I've heard, Perry Central, Estill County, Breathitt County and maybe Wolfe County.
No one knows anything about the Estill situation, last I had heard was that people were applying but the current head coach hasn't told the players anything and is coaching summer ball and hasn't resigned
Haven't heard much about Perry other than it might come open

As for Wolfe and Combs, he might apply for another position that's close to Mt. Sterling, if a position comes open.

Breathitt had a younger black headed guy coaching them tonight at Estill. They looked good till about the 4th inning. Who's the kid that wear's #4 for Breathitt? Didn't see him out there last year when we played them. Estill looks good for next year. Their pitchers threw a lot of ground balls. Breathitt hit the ball well it was just right at everyone. I was impressed by both teams. Breathitt looks very young.
