Word is that Clay Campbell has quit as Pike Central's head coach. Wonder who the new coach will be. Hope someone can restore some pride in the program. All starters from the regional tournament game against Magoffin Co. are no longer with the team. 3 graduated, 1 quit and 1 transferred. A girl who played significant minutes in that game has quit as well. It will be a rebuilding process, hope whomever get's the job know's what their doing and builds the program the right way. :HitWall:

Has the job been posted?

Job not posted. May be no teaching jobs available. Hope whomever gets it straightens it out. That program has dropped off big time under Campbells watch.

There are no teaching jobs at the present time. The middle school coach has left too. They did post back to back twenty win seasons so that's not terrible. I know a coach who would love to get back to eastern Kentucky who has had a lot of success in Washington County.

Hear coach at Mullins wasn't cutting it so was released. Campbell ran off several young players.

Is it possible that Cindy Stuart would leave the friendly confines of the Pikeville Independent School System to come and coach at Pike Central? Could this be legit or are some folks just hoping and praying for what some would consider to be a small miracle? If Central could pull this off it would be great for them, guess we will just have to wait and see.
