Anything the idiots at PETA are involved in, I disregard.
Their sensationalism and lack of common sense has only served
to paint them as lunatics in my mind. I lump them in with the
religeous fanatics that bomb abortion clinics "in the name of
God"
These chickens are brain dead animals raised for the sole reason
of slaughter. I'm not condoning the abuse in this video, it was
disgusting. But KFC deals with the serious abuse issues when they
are discovered in one of their suppliers about as well as any
huge food service company can, IMO. If I remember correctly,
KFC took measures against that plant and those workers.
Just remember that everything PETA holds up as abuse is just not.
Slaughter is an ugly business, but necessary for a nation of meat eaters.
Pass me a drumstick.

02-17-2005, 07:41 PM
KFC is still good
02-17-2005, 08:35 PM
Hahah.. Cruel? Fresh chicken is the best in the world, and do you know how to get it?
You grab a chicken by its neck and spin it around until its head pops off. then you skin it.. It's some good eating, I mean you can't just sit around and wait on one to die.

I ate KFC today......It was good. but I will admitt that stuff is real mean
02-18-2005, 01:36 AM
I'm not going to subject myself to that video. I eat chicken and dont plan on stopping anytime soon so it would make no difference to me...
Do chickens really have feelings? Do you they know what's happening? My grandmothers neighbor had chickens growing up and hated them.. They terrified me and they were mean...
I have a story about chicken eggs but I dont want to share it...it may show my unpleasant side as a child...lol...

Yes that was one helluva post... and true too... It's sad that so many jobs in the U.S. are driven by gossip and BS!

02-18-2005, 05:02 AM

02-18-2005, 05:15 AM
Yeah, if you can carry a good lie or blow things out of proportion you're destined for a job in this country, either at PETA, or a sports writer.
