They were offered by Davidson 3 days after attending camp. Congrats to both young men!!! Both young men have more camps to go and I see more offers coming their way.

I was told Cam ran a 4.38 40 and Will ran a 4.4 40. Great and Cong: to both players.

When you say dominate a camp - how So? thats usually tough to do! What events did they do? how many kids were there?

When I say dominate i mean Both Will and Cam won every single event at the camp. Will jumped right under 10 ft. in broad jump (not sure on the exact number) and won that event. Cam won the 40 yard dash with a time under 4.5 seconds. Will won the shuttle with a time under 4 seconds, the only person at the camp under 4 seconds. Cam won the L drill by a good margin. I think there were around 150-200 athletes at the camp.

What grade are these boys in?
#14
Very impressive speed these two young men possess. Somerset will really test my Pirates early with wheels at the skill positions like that!
#15
Those times are great. How big are they. With that kind of speed they will find a place to play.

Should be a very good football game.

Size is the only thing that has hurt them from being recruited by the larger D1 schools.. Both going to the ohio camp today. Will is 5'10 170 and Cam is 5'9 160. I am also looking forward to that Belfry game. I played in the semi state game there 3 years ago at Cam stadium and was a great experience, even if it came out as a loss.
#19
Those Somerset speedsters will surely like the turf surface at Cam!

Davidson is in the Patriot League with Morehead State isn't that a non-scholarship league? Did they get academic offers or do they find a way to get their school paid for instead of giving an actual athletic scholarship? Good luck to them at Ohio U. Personally I'd like to see them join Speaks, Slaughter and Williams at EKU.
#21
Yes it would be great if they could join the Somerset trio at EKU. Or maybe get an offer from WKU or MAC / Sun Belt / Conf. USA school.

Norm, I agree EKU would be a Great fit for these 2 players. EKU is very aware of these young men. Eastern's staff got to see them play 2 or 3 times last year when the came to see Slaughter and Williams.
