Any predictions or thoughts on this years Shelby Valley team?

They will be a very young team again. Good QB coming back but they need to let him throw it more. Just depend on how hard they been working this off season to get.stronger

2-9 or 3-8 depending on how many lower tier 1A teams are on the schedule.

With SV being a young team they do & will struggle. There's no doubt about it, but I believe these boys will overcome their struggles eventually. From what I hear the off-season is looking well. Hopefully this years team can start to build toward positive years for SV.

I caught them a few times on tape and if memory servers me correctly, I think this team will struggle as much if not more than 2012.
If all of those young guys stay together and can work hard in the off-season and unit as one unit, they could be above .500 in 2014.
Getting the numbers up is always a plus, and I think each player on the team should try and get a friend to go out for the team.

Speaking for myself i would say East Ridge, Paris, Paintsville, and 1 or both of the VA teams. I dont know anything about either of the VA teams is the reason i included them. I also think the Paintsville & Paris could possibly be losses. Those 2 should be good games IMO. Betsy Layne is not the Betsy Layne of old. I dont see them beating them this year nor anyone else in their District.

Paris is about on the same level as SV now. Fleming Co is a step above IMO.
