Tigers SWEEP the #15 (?) team in the state tonight. Kash Daniel pics up the win and Spencer Taylor pics up his 4 save on the season. This is what happens when you face teams with a .500 record or better.

Congrats to Tigers on two district wins. LC's lack of hitting and several errors sure does not look a team that has won 14 games. I hope the team can pick their heads up and play to their potential. I guess they need colder weather.

stay classy paintsville fans, stay classy. glad you can get on here and run your mouth after winning. be mad, jealous, whatever because lawrence was ranked. it wasn't like they asked to be ranked #15. they did beat the teams that were on their schedule. call it a weak schedule if you want, but i bet if you did some research you'd find their schedule isn't so bad. yeah, i know lawrence doesn't play mighty phelps twice like paintsville does, but we can't always schedule powerhouses like that. and last i looked lawrence didn't get beat by sheldon clark either. just saying.

paintsville was the better team. if they were to meet next week, it may or may not be different.

and to be honest nobody from lawrence ever did boast about their ranking. only a couple of you paintsville fans who couldn't help yourself but to hate. again, congrats on the win. paintsville is a good team. they have a good coach. but why must you all come on here and try to put down lawrence? they work hard. they have good players. good coaches. no trash talking.

^PLEASE IAll I have heard is 14-0.... Nobody is boasting. And yes we have laid a freaking egg THREE years in a row against Sheldon Clark! But, we haven't been talking smack about shit! It happens! Phelps yes. BUT, 3 wins against team with a .500 record or better...oh well. We have kept our mouths shut and just came to play. YEP, SC, PCC, BATH n Pike beat us. NO excuses. We laid EGGS! It happens! BUT, we collect ourselves and move on. All I have heard is 10-0, 11-0, 14-0....Well, Welcome to a team with a record above .500. You guys have a good young team. BUT, so do we.

Go check my post in the earlier state rankings. LOVE the 15th and support them all. BUT, come on. All u guys have done is talk smack about who is the ace and who is #2, #3, #4..... Well...We hit them ALL this week. As we did last season. Yes we laid some eggs. BUT, like I have said all season. Just give us some time. Good Teams get better as we have the last three years. so what you are saying is that when a person's team is doing well that the fans should NOT come on here and congratulate them, pump them up, etc.? wow. talk about not understanding sports. if you go back and look it was YOU and OTHERS who brought up the rankings of lawrence, and a few of us replied to YOUR posts. WE never got on here and claimed to be the best, only defended your statements that we weren't as good as our record.

you did hit our #1-5. congrats. i bet would made over 8 errors in the two games combined. that helped a bit. not taking anything away from paintsville. you do have a very good young team. and as you said, so do we (am I allowed to say that, or is that "boasting"?).

and i decided to do my own research. here are the teams that lawrence beat that have a winning record:

raceland
prestonsburg
capital (wv)
magoffin
huntington (wv)
powell
highlands (is .500)

so more than three like you said.

Hook you need to check your facts. Paintsville has played only 4 teams with a winning record 5 if you count pike central even at 8 and 8 they have also lost to 3 teams with losing records. Get it right before you bash lawrence county's record.

no you didn't but you harp on the fact that OTHERS have put lawrence in the polls. it isn't like they are politicking to get put in the top 25. take that up with the coaches who have a vote and put lawrence in there. then you harp at the fact that you feel our schedule is weak. why not focus on YOUR team? i don't know how many more times i can say that paintsville has a very good team and the fact that you felt the need to belittle lawrence after the 2 losses shows me that you must have had some pretty low expectations of your team OR that you are one of this petty people who love to jump on HIGH SCHOOL kids the first time they have a hiccup in a season. losing to Lewis and Paintsville isn't anything to be ashamed of.
