Bulls 101 - Heat 97
#1
Thus, the streak has ended!!! HAHAHAHAHA  :Cheerlead Confusednicker:   :notworthy :worthy:

Bulls were without Marco Baldelli, Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose....Heat were at full strength and GOT OWNED!!!
#2
I will have to say as big of a Bulls fan as I am, I do not agree with the flagrant on LBJ. It was no worse than what Boozer done to him on the previous play.

James extended his elbow with intentions to hurt boozer. You seen that with him swinging his arms the final 2 minutes. And the heat not shaking hands. So when they win they shake hands but big thugs when they loose. Figures.

If getting beat by 4 is owned, then sure.

Thank god its over... Now ESPN can go back to talking about the NCAA Tournament... No one cares about the NBA regular season.

You not counting the Double digit lead the Bulls had?

Was fun while it lasted. But, the TV ratings were through the roof tonight.

So glad ESPN wont be talking about this daily anymore.
As long as the Penguins and FGCU lose, maybe we can here a regular sportscenter

I am truly worried about the Heat. This recent losing streak has me concerned.....

Lebron's post game comments...

Quote:"It's been happening all year, and I've been able to keep my cool and try to tell Spo (Heat coach Erik Spoelstra), 'Let's not worry about it,' " James said. "But it is getting to me a little bit. Every time I try to defend myself, I've got to face the consequences of a flagrant or a technical foul or whatever the case may be.

"It's tough. It's very tough."

"First of all, Kirk Hinrich in the first quarter just grabbed me with two hands and brought me to the ground," James said.

"The last one, Taj Gibson was able to collar me around my shoulder and bring me to the ground," James said.

Of both fouls, James said, "Those are not basketball plays."

"I'm not crying about anything, because I play the game at a high level," he said.

Another note...
He is tied for sixth in foul shot attempts per game (7.1) and sixth in fouls drawn per game (5.8), according to NBA.com.

^ he should be getting 10 a game.. Lebron gets fouled a lot.. But he can handle it..

I think Lebron should "Kermit Washington" someone.

It's not fair how much injustice he receives

Heat=Champions.

Its that simple. If i were Lebron and Wade i wouldnt even play the rest of the regular season.

He also fouls 5+ times a game. And never gets called for them. He had atleast 7 fouls last night and was not called for any of them. Just his flagrant.

Quote I seen on ESPN. This is why Lebron will never be like Jordan. Jordan had to go up against rough nosed defenses like the Bad-boy Pistons, and Jordan never cried about it. If Lebron played in the early 90s, he would not have the same success
and stats he has right now.

With everything Lebron gets away with on the court. Averaging right around 1 foul a game? Going 300 minutes without a foul. He is the most glorified player in NBA history. He can do no wrong. We don't hear about his flagrant foul. His thug attitude and not shaking hands after their loss. We hear about how the bulls foul to hard and Erik is sending tape to stern. NBA is all about the money. It is hard to watch when marketable teams play. Regarding have so much influence.

Your kidding right? The only thing they have talked about all day is how the HEAT was beaten by a football team. That lebron isnt being protected and that things have to change.

Lebron wil never be jordan. We all hate comparing high school players that don't play the same position why do it to nba players? Its obvious lbj is the first of his kind. He plays a COMPLETE basketball game every time he touches the floor. He is the first Lebron james. And if you think james dishes out more then he recieve referring to fouls your just insane. You either wrap him up or take a charge on a frake train. Lbj will have 4 mvps, 2nba titles, and 2 finals mvps at seasons end. Bank on it.

Did jordan not play a complete basketball game?

James fouls as much as bruce bowen. But considered an elite player he doesnt get fouls called on him. Players foul lebron hard because they know they can either barely touch him and get a foul called while he makes the continuation. Or they can put him on his ass with a real foul.

Lol...that's your opinion. Fact james has been fouled 177 times this season. Which leads the nba. You can cry refs all you want. Opinions mean nothing to facts bro. Sorry
#24
What if jordan did?? Still different players. Don't compare a sg to pf. just ant right. And lebron beats both jordan and kobe at poins ast rbs at age 28. Theres some comparisons.
#25
What did he go earlier this year, eight games without a SINGLE foul being called on him? He is a spoiled brat and the media talking about a more "mature" LeBron after winning the finals, that was a joke! He was just glad he had won a title after going 2 and 8 in the other two. He and Wade are both jerks.

Nobody cries more about refs. In fact, nobody cries half as much. He is in a league of his own in that department. :biglmao:

Kd, Kobe, and JHarden are the next for in line with most fouls being committed on. Is it a coincidence they are all superstars? I gues refs pick who are stars and who ant. This forum never ceases to amaze me. I guess if the refs didn't baby whi they wanted guys like walton, boozer and j jet terry would show us all how to realy play. I doubt a lot of people basketball iq on here now a days after reading the nba threads.

The only fact is your posting stats that help my argument.

The refs are told who to protect in the leagues best interest. Hell man have you never seen the sacremento series with the Lakers. Game 7 of the 2010 finals. Game 2 of last years finals. NBA officials protect the leagues prized players. And James is there most marketable player. It makes sense.

Nonsense. Veterans in the NBA are treated different than young players, but the main reason that guys like Lebron are fouled so much is that they consistently beat defenders and drive the lane. Many of the fouls against James are committed to prevent dunks.

Kobe is another example. If a player shoots the ball with three defenders guarding him, then his chances of drawing fouls skyrocket. His teammate-spectators are simply not going to shoot as many free throws as he does. Some superstars have the ball in their hands far more than they should, so it is natural that they will get fouled more often than somebody who works to get open and depends on teammates to feed him the ball.
