Will he come?
I can't imagine why he wouldn't.
If he did decide to go to FSU, he would see double teams all year. At UK there is a fairly level of talent, so teams will not be able to double/triple team him.
I think he needs to come to UK if he wants to have the great stats. He will go to FSU if he wants to TRY to make a run at UK, which I don't think will happen.

^ Just not knowing enough about Wiggins charecter, I'm not sure we need him if he has the attitude of Shabazz. This looks similar to Davis's class and if that holds true, then this class is MORE than capable to hold the fort down.

Dusty, we have the best of all time on paper right now. Getting the best high school player since LeBron James shouldn't hurt. :Thumbs:

As I commented in another thread, with Randle coming and the possibility of most of this years team staying, no way he comes here. That just means he will have to compete for playing time.

^ Wrong. The players competing for his position are James Young and maybe Archie Goodwin. I'm pretty sure he'd be fine.

Someone that makes this kind of comment doesn't know how good this kid is.

Well I don't live in Canada to go out and watch him play and I am sure you haven't either but like everyone else I have seen his videos and although yes he is great, things change when you play college ball and if UK's bench is that deep, he'll be sitting if he doesn't perform.

He plays in Huntington West Virginia. That's. 25 minutes from my house.

He played at Boyd County this year. That's 15 minutes from my house.

No where near Canada where he is from.

He goes to Huntington Prep in WV as stated above. I saw him play at Boyd County Middle School, thank you. My brother saw him at Alice Lloyd College. He is a man among toddlers on the high school floor.

I'm not saying he won't have to work like everyone else, I'm just saying that if he does, he will be better than any player in the country. No questions asked.

I also believe that Wiltjer will transfer. Because there's no way he'll be playing next year. And I could also see Hood transferring, because he could play at a smaller D1 college or at least get some minutes.

I know he plays in WV, with him being from Canada I was trying to inject some sarcasm into my post but I have failed......:igiveup:

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE for him to choose UK.

Just a FYI, the Jordan Brand Classic lineup has been changed. Originally only Aaron Harrison was to play alongside Wiggins. It's now both Harrison's, Randle AND Wiggins on the same team. Hmmm???????? Nah that couldn't mean much ;-)

Not really any deadline, besides when fall classes start. Can't officially sign a LOI until 3rd Wed in April. And summer classes start mid June. Most players will be here by either then for early summer classes, or July, late summer classes.

A lot of chatter going on right now. Coach Cal is in Huntington today to talk to him. I've said for a month or more we get him. Still stand by that. I see Hawkins announcing tomorrow, or shortly after, and Wiggins either next Wed or so. Also possibly 4 will be leaving UK. Harrow is one of em.

Wiggins met with Cal today.

WCS has said that he wasn't satisfied and plans to return.

Looks like Noel might be the only one that leaves.
