Rating your team's "All-Time" status.
#1
Yes, I know there are hundred's of "All-Time" threads on this board... and this topic has probably been discussed several times.

How do you or people where your from rate your High School team's "All-Time" status in the school's history?

(If your school doesn't have a State Championship)
Win-Loss record for a certain number of seasons?
Sweet 16 appearances over a number of seasons?
Number of wins at a single Sweet 16?

State Championship seasons....

Johnson Central has won the regional tournament 7 times. Any of those 7 teams can say they are the best. The teams listed below are, IMO, the best to play at JC.

1999-2000; Won the 15th region for the first time since 1984. Advanced for the first time in school history to the Elite 8. Lost to eventual state champs, E-Town. Record 26-7

2011-2012 (Record 25-11) & 2012-2013 (Record 22-11); First time in school history to make back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances. No wins at Sweet 16. Same players both seasons.

I would do more teams.... ('96, '97, '98 Paintsville) ('08, '09, '10 Shelby Valley)
But I'm sure their fans would like to do them.

How about total total sweet 16 wins over a certain period.

East Ridge has only played basketball for 10 years so there isn't much to go by but lets see.

1. 2004-2nd team ever coached by Dr. James Hurley. Would win district and advance to the state tournament.
2. 2003-1st team coached by Dr. Hurley. In the first season we knocked off Shelby Valley to win the first 59th district crown.
3.2012-Loaded with talented transfers, much like the current Kentucky wildcats, just couldn't by into the system and lost the regional championship team
4.2011-Led by Cameron Justice, would go on to to be upset by defending state champion Shelby Valley by 1pt in OT after sweeping them in the regular season
5.2008-Eric Ratliff's most experienced squad would eventually make it to the second round of the 15th region before a last second 3 pointer would send the Warriors home
