How good will the blackcats be this year? I hope they have a good year this coming season, considering how bad of a year they had in 05. Just curious about what you prestonsburg fans think.

I think they'll be good winning about 7 or 8 games but not making any noise in the Playoffs !

Prestonsburg will be OK this upcoming year. They will be the number 2 seed this year in the district. I don't see them beating Belfry, but most others should look out for them! Prestonsburg will not be down for two years in a row.

Seems like they had strong freshmen and JV teams this past season-- will any of those players be ready to step up and make some noise on Varisty? If so, who are they and what position do the play?

Well i know last year they didn't play that great! SV almost beat them but then p-burg scored and all valley's hopes was gone but, but i'm goin to have to say ER and SV will be playing with them.

They will do Ok. They lose Shafter but I believe Hughs will do a good job under center. He took over last year some anyway. Lincoln will be their go to man. The kid has the talent and heart to play. I see a 6-7 Winseason. Who knows they may suprise us....look what happened last year.. that shocked the heck out of me.

WOW, you may be right.. The last I heard was that Meade had quit, then came back, so who knows where he is. It would be sad to see the talent he had go down the drain.

They both are currently freshmen.

P'burg will go 8-2 this year. They wont repeat the year they had in 05. Finish behind Belfry, but go a round or two in the playoffs.

Burchett the fresh. is better than schoolcraft at qb. Schoolcraft is too big to be a qb.

Neither of them will be gettin PT unless Hughes gets hurt, and he still has 2 more years of football left.

Yea but look what happened to shaffer in the first game of the season, he was injured. You always have to have a backup and i think it will be burchett or maybe even wes hall but not schoolcraft.
