It seems once every 7 or 8 years or so a mountain team will surprise and win state, just like Shelby Valley, or atleast make it to the championship, but other than that mountain teams just cannot compete with the rest of the state, particularly lville schools and bigger 6A schools.

Ballard will be good once again next year. I'm hoping both Ballard and Madison Central make it to the championship game...Would love to see the Snider vs. Hawkins matchup
