Wow...I have too many suggestions to put into this, lol.

If you will have kids with you or you just like rides, check out the Circus Circus hotel. They have the biggest indoor theme park in the world, it's pretty fun.

Sen of Japan is absolutely phenomenal, it's some of the best Japenese good in America.

Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill is great too, on the strip. Bouchon is French food, and worth the price. Earl of Sandwich is one of the best sandwich places on earth I think...Joe's Seafood, Olives, and Wicked Spoon are excellent as well. All of those are on the strip.

Casa Don Juan (I think that's the name) is some of the best Mexican food you'll ever eat, if ya like Mexican. It's downtown though.

Also, just a tip...if you see someone on the strip that looks like they're selling dope and you decide to let a cop know (they're *usually* at the south and north ends, not selling on the most populated portions of the strip usually), DO NOT let them see you do that. Common sense but I figured I'd give ya a heads up.

My husband and I take driving vacations every now and then; even if we fly to the beginning point. (let that sink in a minuteWink

Anyway, we flew to Vegas and did a driving tour around the national parks. I believe there's 5 or 6 close by. Spent my birthday at the El Tovar on the rim of the Grand Canyon, dinner cruise Lake Meade, Bryce Canyon NP, Monuments NP, etc. I am glad that we included Vegas on our itenerary but I don't plan on going back even if I'm in the area. I probably sound crazy, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I enjoyed the surrounding area so much more!!

The M&M museum is pretty cool too, need to see that. Also, the Top of the World Resturant is in the Stratosphere, you can see the entire city from there...I recommend you go in the evening so you can see the sunset, it's absolutely beautiful.

I haven't seen nearly as many shows as I have everything else in LV, but I have a few I think you'd like.

Blue Man Group at the Venetian, Mystere at TI, Xtreme Magic at Tropicana, and of course Cirque de Soleil or however it's spelled.

You should also head over to Hoover Dam if you can...less than an hour out from Vegas and it's just amazing. The Grand Canyon too, under 2 hours and the most amazing thing I've ever seen, I've been to Vegas probably a dozen times now and try to make it out there every time, amazes me more the more I see it. South Rim, by the way.

If ya like Pawn Stars, the show, you can head over there. It's pretty cool too.

The more I think of things, I'll post them. Do you know where you're staying yet?

Thing about Vegas is that the rooms are so cheap!! Food is reasonable, too.

Hoover Dam is a must see!! I cannot imagine the rafts and kayaks that gather at the bottom of that dam whenever they open the gates in the Spring. It would have to be amazing!! Vundy is right about the southern rim. The northern has some things to offer, but the southern is most definately the place to be. I hope you see a thunderstorm over the canyon while you're there.....incredible!!!

Exercise good judgement, hold yourself to intelligent boundaries, have fun, and again avoid spiked booze!

Great choice! Man you are going to live it...

Just definitely hit the Stratosphere up at sunset though. One of the most beautiful things you'll ever see.
