Sounded like a great game on the radio. Belfry ties the game with 9 seconds left only to see Michael Fields take the ball the length of the floor for the game winner.

Good job Fields! Had a feeling ER would get this one and they did. Now on to BL who I don't think they've played this year.

Fun stat: Every time East Ridge has got past the first round of the 15th, they go on to the Championship game, where they are 1-1 all time.

Pretty sure they got to the Championship in 08' vs Centeal didn't they? Or was that the semi-finals?

Yeah you're right, I overlooked that. East Ridge is 6-2 after advancing past the first round all time.

Great game as a bball fan. Hurley/Robinson/Charles did a fantastic job on Miller. Messer had a pretty good game inside and got himself one last dunk. Nick West showed up, Sean Hurley was clutch late, all 5 starters/seniors left it on the court and just fell short. Excellent effort by East Ridge, cheering for those guys the whole way. A whole lot more tough to swallow last year, but the home grown kids did it tonight and they deserve to be commended.

Gonna miss this group, if they had any help outside the starting 5 (just 1 junior, handful of sophomores who aren't ready yet) they coulda be deadly... Messer ends a great career, as well as the much more underrated Robinson, Charles, and Hurley. They played hard tonight and I'm proud of them.

They played JC in the semis that year and lost by 3 points.
Paintsville went on to state.

Best game of the tourney for sure.
I thought it was heading for OT when Belfry tied it up but that kid from ER just downright played! Great game for him, he's been playing good at the RIGHT time.
McCoy has his team playing good when it matters, wouldn't be surprised if they run the table now.
