When will teams quit leaving Travis Stacy wide open?
When will teams quit leaving Travis Stacy wide open?

I guess cordia is still corida. Does coach Rhodes ever make an adjustments? Does he even know how to coach

just because you can play doesn't mean you can coach and vice versa

I have wondered this ALL year!!
Random question when did little Stacy move to Perry? Maybe he has always went there? I don't know.. I just knew both of his brothers at KCC.

Pcc dominated this game and should dominate this region if spurlock doesnt win with this team he could become an official "chock artist"

PCC is the favorite to win the region. however when they play away fromPCC they struggle in games.

Ive always wondered if they checked visas at one of these types of games.

PCC is good. I never said cornett wasn't good. Its just he was playing much better last year and his sophomore year. I hope the PCC fans understand there is a thin line between arrogance and supporting your team. May come back to haunt you first round of district.

First congrats to Perry Central. They played an awesome game and Cordia has played better. Second, I really like how most of the posts about this game have been directed about the game and the excellent play from the kids...Except for the one poster who had to get some jabs in at Coach Rhodes. I've watched coaches come and go at Cordia; disagreed with the job some did. I don't think any coach around here has gone to college and gotten a degree in coaching. I am a fan; they are the coaches and each has their own style and game plans. IMO Rhodes has accompolished what the creekers expected when they supported his coming to Cordia. Just got to work toward getting bigger and better.

You obviously haven't watched a lot of Cordia basketball over the last decade. But Rhodes definitely got out coached. He has adjusted all year defensively if something wasn't working, but just keep playing man in this one. And benched E with a quarter and a half left and Cordia was actually cutting into to the huge lead Perry built up in the first. All i ask different from this team is to let Owootoah take more shots. But passing first is obviously his game.

No idea.
He's a sophomore and he's played both years at Perry.
I don't get around to see a lot of the grade school teams anymore so I don't know where he was at before that.

But Beverly would have been in foul trouble to if they had call it real tight. Beverly was body him alot to and no foul call. Johnson makes this team hard to defend. He is a beast.
Can you correctly put one dang sentence together please, my four year old daughter has better grammar than you.

I've heard a lot of stuff but when it comes to the rumor mill you never know what's legit.
With Johnson I have heard Western Kentucky, Murray State, Winthrop, Lipscomb, Belmont, Indiana State, Northern Kentucky, Morehead State, Eastern Kentucky and Southern Miss.
With Dalton I have heard Lincoln Memorial and Union. I've heard he's got more - but I can't remember them for the life of me.

Dalton has imprvoed alot from his freshman year to his senior year. You can see that this young man has put alot of time and effort into developing his basketball skills. Johnson skill level is unreal. He will be even better next year. I hope my grammar is correct on this reply. But thanks Zaga on the info on these two players.

Stacy is a junior. He came from AB Combs where I know he play at least 3/4 yrs. They are several schools looking at Cornett. A ton of NAIA schools and a few D1 schools wanting him to walk on. This kid has come a long way since his freshman yr and is having a terrific senior yr. I still think his best bball is down the road when he truly commits to conditioning and the weight room. If he does he will b a steal for some college.

Please tell me you are kidding I am in no way shape or form a "fan" of Perry however, Cornett is a beast and is a matchup nightmare for any team in the mountains. Him along side Johnson makes a two headed monster and something special to watch with the guard play the Dores have in place. By far the most exciting team I have seen in the mountains in a while they have it all going for them right now and will be tough to be. It is unfortunate they will more than likely get paired up against Trinity in the quarterfinals at state pending both teams make it and win their first Sweet 16 games. Both are obviously the favorites in both regions. There is something special when you can play inside out and not have to rely on your guards to shoot their arms off. Going into this game I spoke to Zaga and said Cordia would live and die from behind the arch and it proved to be the catalyst considering they can not get a long rebound. It was also scary to watch them get out in transition against Cordia since that was one thing I thought Cordia would have going in their favor. But just like the KCC All A game the Lions were beat at their own game early on and could not recover.

He had one with Hazard - and I think that's it.
