We're the two teams originally schedule to play?

Classy move by the raiders. We appreciate this in a big way

Bill Mike Runyon and the staff at PHS have been good friends with the Raiders over the years and have had a few good games. The senior players at Paintsville deserve to get to play at home for their night.

No, South Floyd agreed to visit them so the Tigers could have senior night. Was a late addition to schedule, and I believe it came together after Shelby Valley cancelled last nights trip to Paintsville, which was originally scheduled to be their senior night.

Please no one take this as a negative comment. It is not meant to be.
South Floyd is way down this year. It takes some big balls to add an away game to your schedule against one of the better teams in the region this year. Kudos to the Raiders for stepping up to the challenge.
Good luck to both teams tonight.

Thanks, We have a young first year head coach that tries to do things the way that we have handled things in the past up here. Yes it will be a challenge but sometimes things can be more than wins or losses.

Glad all worked out well for the Tigers, but this is why you don't schedule Senior Night on the last game of regular season.
Good Luck to both teams!!!

I should have added that the Principal at South Floyd is former coach Joe Marson a great player in his days at Prestonsburg and he made the arrangements for SF to travel there tonight.

This wasn't our last game of the season. It was our last home game of the season. Which is when pretty much EVERY TEAM schedules their Senior Night.

If that's what you meant....yes. What you stated made it sound as if that was our last game of the entire regular season.
But, like I said....."It was our last home game of the season. Which is when pretty much EVERY TEAM schedules their Senior Night.".
