Estill took a 9-2 lead, Buckhorn went on a 21-2 run to end the first quarter. Buckhorn lead by 1 (39-38) at halftime. I don't have a point total for Hoskins but I would have to say he had right around 40. He just ate Estill up, all you can say about it.

Interesting! Powell Co beat Buckhorn at Buckhorn last night so I would have thought if anything, Estill would have had the advantage with Buckhorn have back-to-back games. I have probably said it 10 times but, the 56th District could not be more even this year!

Hard Loss for the engineers! Buckhorn has.been a up and down team this season!!
I wouldn't think too much about Powell beating them and Estill losing Saturday!!!

Districts couldn't be any closer this year! Teams are all even. Going to be a great tournament! Best of luck to all the teams. I'll be there watching all of the games!

Thought Estill would have won this game with it being played in Irvine. Buckhorn does have a good young team, though. And a very good coach in John Noble.
