Wouldn't it be funny if Quick puts on the Louisville hat then throws it and puts on the Kentucky hat haha

Nope.... I still see loosing... We have to move up in recruiting in the conference..Simple as that... a new coach comes in and people talk oh how great it's going to be... lol than a couple of years go by and football loosing and people start get rid of this guy or he can't recruit.... lol I hope it's different with Stoop but i think it a stepping stone for him.

Don't count so fast my friend.........
02-06-2013, 04:07 PM
Honestly, I hope it is a stepping stone. That would mean that he has came in and did a good enough job that others would want him. What do you expect him to do, come in and turn them into a national power?

Hatcher's mom was wearing Red and Black...

I don't care if Nick Saban came to UK, he'd struggle to get in the Top 10 recruiting class in his first year which is where your expectations are. Let me guess, you were a Joker fan & a Tubby Smith guy too, huh?? It may be a stepping stone, but what's it hurt? We already got Brown on staff, he'd be the predecessor & he's primed for a HC job.

Yea why not.... I guess your satisfied with being the bottom of SEC football... Just like Some we are ok with going to small good for nothing bowl games.....

and to expand on that, Nick Saban improved Bama by 2 wins his first year as coach. So not even he can turn a team completely around in his first year.

Blue Blur nawwwww just laughing at you guys that are happy with being at the bottom of SEC football..... I guess your one of those that like being on the bottom...

Rome wasn't built in a day neither are solid football programs. Tell me who we could've gotten to bring in a Top 10 recruiting football class in 3 months??
02-06-2013, 04:16 PM
Kentucky now stands at 28 behind Virginia, Arkansas and Mississippi State for the Top 25.
02-06-2013, 04:17 PM
Instead of saying it isn't good enough outside, show us a coach that has came in and turned a school around like you expect in his first 4 months as coach? We aren't happy with being the bottom, but we have enough sense to realize that no one is going to come in and turn the Kentucky football team into a threat to any of the big boys of the sec in 1 offseason.

Uk coaches will need to be great at player devolopment. I think hatcher will shine under stoops and timmons will be a Randall Cobb type under Neal brown. Lets go cats.

troll???? lol do you know what that is??? Nope just don't get so excited about where it's going.... Do you all remember, or maybe you all to young, Bill Curry??? Oh he was going to be the savior... Coming from Bama he is it.... ok we see where that ended up... Then you had one after another.... Some of those guys are at small schools or not even coaching... So nothing bad it's just don't get hyped on the new coach... YET.... We have to recruite better players to get better... simple as that... I do like the Hatcher kid... in state and at Ky...

How many scholarships do we have left.
02-06-2013, 04:32 PM
Don't pray for me the good lord watches over me.... you need to pray for uk football and hope the stars line up for the next few years or you will be here saying the same thing..( I guess your a Stoop fan)

redhound93 Wrote:How many scholarships do we have left.
We have three of the allotted 25. We also had two dismissed from the team. So that opens up 2 more scholarship players.
Hatcher jumped us up to 28th, two spots behind Arkansas whose had 26th. They only have two of the allotted scholarships left. Our average rank of commits are 3.06 & theirs is 2.96. I'd imagine us finishing ahead of them, but I could be wrong. As I apologize we didn't jump Arkansas as I jumped the gun on.

Like i said, TROLL...Yes very much i know what a troll is, and while you may not be one on purpose, thats what you're doing is trolling. The football team is heading in the right direction seeing as how the whole new coaching staff hasn't had alot of time but in the short recruting period they've had, it's a good start.....Go Cats....

Man if you still see loosing... You need to just go to Florida and follow the fool we had here before stoops.. That guy couldn't win you seen what happen to UK football after brooks left joker in control this went down the :flush: and got worse every year.
Now we have a coach that cares and nows how to coach and get kids to play, and you want to but him down before he has ever coached his first game at UK, your just plain nuts or stupid one not really sure which yet but I'm leaning more to the latter...:devilflam

I'd be curious to see where we ranked in the SEC in those years. I'd imagine last more often than not, while the rest of the SEC landed in the Top 50.
