Did Hollan come back tonight or something?
#5
Wow! 30?

^Jmo but I think this shows how much better the 14th is then the 15th. No offense to Pikville, but their in the mix to win the 15th and Hazard wouldn't beat KCC, CHS, PCC, or Breathitt this bad. Congrats Dawgs.

Gotta disagree. This shows how good Hazard is. Welcome back Dawgs!

^You think they could beat any top team in the 14th this bad on their home court?
#9
^it really don't matter, them or Perry won't make it out of the district

Hollon returned the other night at Jackson City.

Ventured down 23 to see the Hudson/Kasongo matchup and come away very impressed with Hudson.

Hazard's defense was the story of the game though. Outside of Kasongo, no one else could score for Pikeville. Didn't stop Rowe from trying though, that boy hasn't seen a shot he didn't like. Thought Kasongo should have gotten the ball more often, as he was missed several times by the Pikeville guards. Didn't like his attitude either after he didn't get the ball. He completely give up on the possession.

Hazard has a very good team, from top to bottom. Solid defense, good ball movement, etc. Just a well coached team.

Anyone know where the 14th region tourney is being held?

Congrats Dawgs!

Pikeville took one on the chin. Never was in the game.

Hazard looks solid and the 14th Region is loaded.

Hazard did beat Breathitt that bad with Hollan...

You all have been judging Hazard and they've been playing without their best players! If Perry didn't have Beverly, Knott didn't have Justice, or Cordia didn't have O, they wouldn't look too good either... U all underrated Josh Hollan is much... He is the energy for Hazard

^Hazard is the my second favorite team in the region. Very close friends with Hudson and have balled with Thompson and Triplett since they have been youngsters. If Cordia doesn't have a chance at winning region I'm all for the dawgs. I just simply think the 14th is two steps ahead of the 15th. But I still don't think they would beat Pcc, Kcc, or Cordia that bad on their home court. I did forget about the 20 point beat down hazard delivered Breathitt earlier in the year. With Hollan Dawgs are definitely in the hunt for the region title. Like I said before I'm pulling for the dawgs on Feb. 19.Confusedinglepar:Cheerlead

Excuse the silly faces. My 4 year old daughter insisted. lol

No question the 14th is considerably better than the 15th. That was well known coming into this game. I have watched every top 14th region team play this year and with a healthy team like Hazard had tonight IMO they are the best team in the 14th. One thru ten every player plays so hard and they are very physical. Very, very well coached too. Shame they are playing PCC first game of district, way to go 54th, way to go
#18
For all of you who have forgot they have A 15 point advantage sitting on the bench. Al is one of the best in the business!!

I was at the game tonight and he just gave up on his team. Chris hudson is a much better player than Kasongo the pikeville team isn't that good his guards don't have the IQ to get him the ball every possesion. Blain may will be a good player Ethan rowe is outstanding. Silvers doesn't play enough minutes and it's sad they can't get the ball to kasongo every time but he just gave up tonight.

I agree was at this game. Hazard totally different team with Hollan.Like you said without Justice how good would Knott be or Beverly for Perry. Hazard looks like the headless horseman without Hollan. With Hollan they are as good as anybody in the region. I personally think it 's a shame them and PCC play the first game of the district only diminshes the regional field. Congrats Bulldogs on the game tonight.

Peace be among us.

WOW?? 30 points? Pikeville has two really good players, I would have went with Hazard by 8 or 10. Hazard may been getting back to that early season form.

Dawgs looked much better past couple of games, very proud of a great group of young men. These players are special!!! Dream BIG!!! ( for those who know)

Whoa now... I wouldn't go that far.

Kasongo is the better player. Hudson couldn't stop him tonight, Pikeville stopped him. They didn't get him the ball nearly as much as they should have. I'm sure Kasongo scored over half Pikeville's points tonight. Hudson is really, really good though. He has a ton of upside too.

Congrats to the dogs on showing the 15th Region how it goes in the 54th District!

I agree. I did not see this game, but the games i have seen Pikeville play they do not look for Kasango inside. Almost every team Pikeville plays their will be a mismatch inside. Kasango is begging for the ball. I know Pikeville has some good shooters outside, but why not feed the big man. If the defense starts collapseing kick it out for the open shot.

Shane Hall has been In & Out all season! With him healthy Johnson Central is the favorite to win the 15th Region hands down!!!

Peace Be Amoung A Healthy Shane Hall

Hazard was just the better team in this matchup. Hazard was up the whole game, and never let Pikeville get anything going. However, to say Hudson is a better player than Kasongo, is a bit of a stretch.

Pikeville needs to give Kasongo the ball more on offense, and they need to control the ball and limit turnovers.
