Black Bear Cuz Wrote:Its great to know that we have a kid here in the mountains that is respected so much so early in his career. Its seems like from what I have seen from him that he is truly a special player and if he continues to improve and mature, he could eventually be recruited by Mr Calapari himself!!! Yes, thats right, I believe this kid might be special enough to play for the Big Blue.... Some people talk about his size being a potential problem, but there are several examples around the country of kids his size and smaller playing critical roles on great teams (Indiana Hoosiers for one) I truly believe that it is not how big you are, but how well you play the game and this kid has a BIGTIME game and a BIGTIME shot! Anybody remember a kid named Phil Cox from Harlan who had a tremendous career at Vandy? (He was 6'0") I have to comment on another great player in the mountains also, the Beverly kid from PC has got a SERIOUS game on him as well and I believe he can play at a high level in college!

I see ky and Louisville showing interest, maybe only by default, just because other major d1’s are offering or interested. things will pick up for Cam now since his 62 pt game. athletes are common, true pure shooters, not so much. and he still has 2 1/2 years left.

Braxton will be at a decent school, he's a true pg with speed. rushes his shot some but never afraid to shoot. he would be the more athletic of the two but not the shooter Cam is.

Congrats, to a great mountain basketball player. Could go down as one of the best to play in the mountain region, before his is done.

I bet if Letcher Co knew what kind of player he was, then they would have never fired his dad. Bonehead decision to let him go after two district titles, but then they have strike out with it from the beginning. One of people that would have done good went on to be hazard assistant coach, and one of his boys was a stand out football player, the other one playing for UPike right now. Congrats to Camron Justice on a great accomplishment so far. Wish you was in Letcher Co blue.

Recruit him Cal! We dont need another Chris Lofton story! A kid not being recruited by Kentucky going to Tennesee and lighting us up for 4 years.
#44
^ he won't go to UK, he'd go to UT or U of L

Chris’s senior year, he was a 3*. He was recruited over with Rajon Rondo 5*, Ramel Bradley 4*, Randolph Morris 5*, and Joe Crawford 5*. Nobody knew he'd turn out like he did. Not knowing that, I would have taken the same players over him everyday. Just my take on it though.

If he gets that offer from Duke, chances are he will take it. But that is an enormous "if". Long way to go in his high school career.
#47
He said if Duke offered he would obviously take it; otherwise he would like to be at a SEC school..

Congrats Cam!
