Hatfield McCoy Shootout
#1
I was able to broadcast the last four games of the Hatfield McCoy Shootout from the Williamson Field House.

Sheldon Clark 67 Tolsia, WV 47. Impressive win Tolsia a veteran team with seven seniors. Frankie Smith has Sheldon Clark playing like a well oil machine. Chase Parsley 26 pts, Dylan James 18 pts. Three soph and a 8th grader in the lineup wow the future looks bright. Frankie Smith's high school record is now 137-40.

Hurricane, WV 93 Belfry 65. Hurricane is the fastest team I have seen all year. When I looked at my scoresheet to mark a Belfry point Hurricane was shooting a layup or taking a shot in front court. Robinson and Messer did the bulk of the scoring .

Ripley,WV 71 Mingo Central 70. Odd game . Mingo Central erased a 14 point first half deficit to lead majority of the second half. Ripley erased a 10 point fourth qtr lead due to hot shooting to pull out the win.

Tug Valley 73 Riverside, WV 65. Tug's Austin Brewer had 26 pts. Mikey Newsome 16 and Aaron Muncy 15 as the three guards led there team for a come from behind win over a very quick and athletic team.

Phelps 50 Hannan, WV 45

Pike Central 78 Riverview , WV 49.

South Charleston , WV 87 Wesley Christian 40. If anyone asks why this matchup was made. I was told that Wesley Christian requested to play them. Wesley Christian did play hard.

Crowds were huge for the last two games.
