Holmes survives a scare.

^ not enough popcorn for that one, got alittle sloppy at the end, but scott just couldn't capitalize when they needed to.

Holmes is now 20-0, Cincinnati was in the house checking out Holmes soph. point guard James Bolden. Unfortunately for Bolden, he had his worst game all year with 10 turnovers, but still put up 14 points. Daquan Palmer led all scorers with 22, Nick Jackson led Scott with 19.

Holmes has a good chance finishing the regular season unbeaten. NewCath will give them their biggest test, followed by Dixie.

Englemon hit one of two FTs with 3.2 seconds left in the (tie) game after being fouled on a putback. I'm guessing there were about 45 total fouls called in the game, including a T on Holmes coach. Refs also blew whistle all night for travels, palming, double dribbles. This is partly why Bolden had so many turnovers. But give credit to Scott. They had a good game plan and came within a point of pulling it off. Palmer saved the night for the undefeated Bulldogs with his offensive output in 4th quarter. Not a pretty game, but Bulldogs won this one like they won the Cooper game -- with 4th quarter defense.

Have seen most of the top teams in Ky. have not had the opportunity to see Holmes. How will they stack-up against top teams?
