NP. Nice game from Evans. Is that a school record for points in a game? I'm sure the Hearld Leader will have some info on it in tomorrow's paper

I am unsure of the record but, I would say that Larry Stamper probably owns that record.

I know am going to catch a lot of heat from this but, it's pretty bad when you're the home team and all the foul calls are going to the visiting team. At least call it evenly for both teams! Horrible, absolutely horrible calls by the refs tonight!!! On top of that, there was a Buckhorn fan sitting behind the Lee Co bench heckling the Lee Co players. Thankfully he was finally ejected and escorted out by Beattyville Police but, it should have been done much sooner than when it was!

No reason to hang your head boys, the refs were obviously in favor of Buckhorn. Tyler tried but, it's hard to beat the zebra's when they're completely against you!

Congrats to Buckhorn on the win.

Wow, you actually go 2 overtimes and you are really blaming the refs? Give us a break, if they were going to take it from Lee it would not of went to over time don't you think, for sure not 2 of them.:lame: Guess they didn't miss any free throws or make any turnovers either. This just kills me..:devilflam

You bet I am!! There would have been no OTs if, the refs had actually called the fouls evenly!

I was not at the game but i bet there was more fouls called on Buckhorn than Lee co. Sour grapes.

I was told there was ONE FOUL called on Lee county in the first half. Three starters fouled out for Buckhorn as opposed to one player from Lee county

Cry me a river! If Buckhorn hadn't of had so many crazy fans in the crowd trying to call the game, maybe the real officials could have given you a few more fouls to make you happy. You won the game and you are still complaining! It was a hard fought game from both teams. Maybe Buckhorn should think about leaving some of their fan base back in the mountains next time, then maybe the police can watch a little of the game too instead of having to fool with them.

Still waiting on an official foul count from Coach Wright but, I know there were only 2 that fouled out for Buckhorn, one was in the 4th and the other in the first OT. Clint Cox fouled out for Lee Co and we had two others with 4 fouls a piece.

On another note, I think this shows just how weak the 56th District really is as Buckhorn has beaten two teams from the 56th and was very close to beating a third.

Your crazy, Buckhorn needs to use any advantage they can get. the horn is always a tough place to play.

Before you respond read all the post you responded to. Not just the part you bolded. Said it was only a thought Horn might not want to give up their homefield advantage for a big gate.
