I would want to get out of college football after that loss to Bama as well.

I think he's using that interview as a ploy to get a raise & contract extension with Notre Dame.
I think he'll get that.
I'd be very, very disappointed if he bolts to the Eagles.

I don't understand why these coaches think the NFL is a better opportunity. The money is basically the same in college and the perks are way better. You could be a college coach your whole life. How many NFL coaches last more than five years? Plus in college the best teams tend to recruit the best players in the NFL it's the opposite because of the draft. If it were me, (money being the same) I would rather be a God at Notre Dame than good NFL coach.

Being a ND fan I would have no problem with this. I think Kelly did his job in turning the program around and proving that ND can still win in this day and age of college football but do I think he is the one to put ND on top and a competitor for the title every year??? I'm not so sure he can bring in the 4and 5 star athlete's on a consistant basis that you need to play with teams like Alabama. If I was ND I would keep him until I get that big time coach ready to sign them papers. Kelly did a good job but I think the National Title game exposed what he lacks compared to the best coaches in college football like Urban Meyer and Nick Saban.

For this year he is but I think it is very obvious that he has NFL aspirations. He will go to the NFL sooner rather than later. I just hope that ND don't screw this up and destroy the strides this program has made in the last few years.
