Estill is coming off a 19 point loss and a 20 point loss so the Owls are in good company. I look forward to a chance to play Estill. This game will come down to who makes big plays down the stretch. I believe the Owls will be the team that makes those big plays Friday night.

Last time Owsley defeated Estill in Irvine was 2005-6 and that was by like 6 points. It should be a good game either way it goes, whoever makes their shots will win the game.

Congrats to the Bobcats on a hard fought win. I would also like to say that Lee County's coach was completely classless all night with his fist pumping, constant crying about calls and WWF flexing at the end of the game(I thought he was going to rip his shirt off and throw it in the crowd). It is actions like this that, at some point, could incite a riot at a game. There is nothing wrong getting your fans to stand and cheer but to act the way he did only enbolden's stupid people to do the same. What you sow, you will reap.

the coach does things like that to not only get the crowd pumped up but he gets the team going and it helps them a lot. so just watch it or dont come.

Also, either this is the first basketball game you have ever been to or you are just a sore loser! I have been to at least 1000 high school events and never has a coach sat there and not argured a call or two. I will say last night when coach Green gave his impression of how a kid moved over to take a charge that was funny. Plus im pretty sure the ref told him to stop dancing or something. :lmao:

I came out of the mountains to watch this game last night. It was a great game both teams fought extremly hard. As for Coach Wright i dont think he did anything wrong passion and excitment is a just apart of the game. Is it wrong for Coach Wright to be excited that his team won? No. No Offense to you PapaPoof but that was just a dumb statement. If you dont like showing excitment then maybe you should take up a sport like Golf or Raquetball. Good Win Bobcats!

I give up. If you Lee County fans like your coach looking like he is having a roid rage attack, who am I too judge. All coaches are animated, this is fine, it brings flare to the game. All coaches pump their players up to play hard, its their job. All coaches work the ref's, it keeps the game honest. This is the first coach I have seen let out a primal scream. Maybe he can teach it to his players, they would be open all night. Just thought it was in bad taste. Maybe we are a little more EVOLVED up here. Going to buy some golf clubs.

He'll only have to watch it for a couple more weeks, because he is on his way out the door after this season, thank goodness, maybe they can bring someone in that can actually coach instead of just being a cheerleader. Maybe next year he can actually put on the Bobcat outfit and run around, that is more his style anyways. :flush:

As good as they are playing, what are you talking about? He has a couple of good players and those players are getting the wins for Lee County. He has a cup cake schedule and that is the only reason they are winning. They have only beat 1 single team that has a winning record the whole year, c'mon give me a break. They have beat in this region Wolfe, jenkins, powell, jackson city, owsley who are all below .500 teams and are all terrible, the teams outside the region they have played are Allen Central(3-11) 14th in their region, Magoffin(4-8)12th in their region, Bath(6-10)12th in their region, and Ryle (8-7)10th in their region, all of these wins just show, they are playing very weak teams and that it doesn't take much to coach a team when your playing cup cakes like this. :ChairHit::please::insane:

I think coach wright had a solid game plan against the owls. He has a solid rotation and the kids play well together which is a sign the coach is getting the job done. I look for Lee to keep improving as the season goes along. They will be a hard out in the 56th District. It will come down to which team improves the most. I like the owls chances to be that team. The owls need to learn how to finish games and I believe they will. As far as coach wright goes I am impressed with how he has gotten his team to play this year.

Not the reason he has stayed that long! He is in a weak district and he is a teacher at Lee so they don't have to go out and get someone else who would do it, it's such a high profile job I know they are knocking down the doors to get it.:igiveup:
