Trevor Tiller led all scorers with 27 points. 20 of them coming in the 2nd half from what I heard.

Strong showing by Paintsville. If they continue this style of play they will be representing the 15th Region in Frankfort.

Did Betsy Layne's coach learns his grandson isn't a point guard and can't run the team this will continue to happen. He needs to open his eyes and realize it! Now after saying this, Painstville did a good job, if they keep it up they will be In Frankfort.

I agree qb18. I question why a couple of players were even out there. His grandson struggles and number 20. Not sure his name. They might be good kids but they definitely struggled. I know the Tackett kid and Rogers are better than that. If your not producing then why they out there.

I disagree with you there Sheriff, the Rogers and Tackett kid struggle under pressure they are Shooting guards, 3 did good while he was in, but could tell he was nervous but the only true pg, who are you going to play for 20 tho? Not sure his name?

I would play with a small lineup. Let the Hamilton kid play the 5 spot and let the other guys help out the point guard position..3 is a great player but looks like he don't have the support from the staff.

The Bobcats will be fine, they just got to workout some kinks.

Jr needs to make changes if Betsy layne is going to have any success this season.
They have one of the most talented teams in the region. They have lost to district rival prestonsburg already, let one win south Floyd take them to OT, lost to Paintsville tonight, have 2 20 point losses and will more than likely have another when they play KCC next game. This team is better than they've been allowed to play. It seems like they can't enjoy the game. Can't miss a shot or make one mistake without being taken out. He needs to let his bench play some more especially in certain positions. I think this team could be the second best team in the region behind Johnson Central hopefully they can turn it around.

Comes Tuesday we will see what each and everyone of Betsy Laynes players are made out of! When Justice is up in Jrs Grandson we will see how Jr and His grandson handles there selfs! I agree with Saint if bobcats make a few changes they could be one of the best teams in this region maybe even better then Jc! But Painstville had a great showing, starting 5 starters who barley get to play and still coming off with a victory! Great job Painstville!

I liked the move by BMR to start the 2nd string instead of the regular starters after their performance against SC. When Paintsville plays a good game they are tough and hopefully they will pick it up after this one.

Betsy Layne is very small. Jr. Newsome is a great coach with a very methodical offense that don't really play to the strength of this team I don't believe. To beat better teams with good tight defenses, the ball needs to be moved a lot more quickly from end to end. This would not give teams as much chance to set up their defense which makes it very difficult to get a good shot for a small team like Betsy Layne. Betsy Layne is having a good season so far, but they can play better. Good luck, Bobcats.
