Cougars are going to be a dangerous team at tournament time played Knott to a 4 point game at Hindman. Letcher Central will host the 14th Region tournament. Peace be among us. Brother Cecil.

I thought Knott would roll in this one playing at home. What happened ? Either the Cougers are playing better than most people think or Knott had a letdown. Someone please enlighten me on this one.

Short did play. Knott was horrible tonight. they couldnt throw it in the ocean the first half. At times they act like they didnt have any idea how to run there set plays. Alot of mental mistakes that cost them alot of turnovers. Knott had one stretch were they pushed the lead to 15 or so and then it was back to not knowing how play. This was not your typical Knott Central team tonight.

The final score was a little misleading in the perry , let her game. Let her scored eight or ten points when the game was already over. Plus perry has johnson now and didn't then.

Letcher has shown they have what it takes to compete at regional level. Even though they lost two hard breaking games let us remember what they lost last year. Everyone thought it was a rebuilding year and they have done a great job. I think we are only loosing Gregory this year and everyone is coming back.

LCC is a threat in this region, for sure. They have size, athleticism and, although, they don't have a lot of experience, they do have experience at the point in Gregory and that is critical for any team hoping to compete in the 14th. Hammonds is probably COY at the moment

Didn't realize that he didn't coach that game, but he has coached the rest of them and the team has exceeded everyone's expectations.

With that said, I would say he and BB are both at the top of the list as far as COY goes. Knott has been the best team in the 14th region and has probably been even better than expected, as well. I know they are catching some flack about not playing well, lately, but they are winning.

Attended this game and was surprised how well Letcher played. Knott had alot of turnovers and played sloppy imo and I'll credit Letcher's defense for that. Don't know if KCC was overlooking them or not but I guarantee they won't the next time. Letcher played gutsy defense. Knott had a 13 or 15 pt lead at one point and that evaporated quickly.Letcher also did a great job in the halfcourt and kept Knott from getting out on the fastbreak where they can be very good.Good showing Letcher.
