Knott seems to be the best team in the region as of now. Perry Central will continue to come on strong as Johnson plays a few more games. Always good to see a 14th region team take a team like Henry Clay to the wire.

KCC and UK lost today but I feel so good about both. Out played expectations and positioned themselves to win late. You can say whatever about this game short not playing, refs, free throws. Blah blah it doesn't really matter. My one and only complaint was the iHigh announcers being SOOOOO pro-Henry Clay and kept saying Knox central.

Absolutely, and a virtual road game at that. If KCC can keep this up I'd hate to be the rest of the 14th, we are rolling with mostly sophomores. Very exciting.

Knott looked good tonight. Combination of bad free throw shooting and horrible calls send them to the losers bracket. Teams were evenly matched and and I was impressed with Knott's showing

Heck of a ballgame by two good basketball teams. Would have like to seen Knotts PG play in this one to help with the pressure of Henry Clay. HC is very good defensively and will probably be the favorite to win the 11th. Big shot the HC kid hit to take the lead with 1 second to go. Congrats to two very good ball teams.

You must have watched a different game than I did. Knott got the benefit of the officiating time and again, and I don't have a dog in this fight. I just enjoy watching good basketall. Knott has a very good team. Knott is the team to beat rigt now, but you better not forget Hazard and Perry.

Congrats HC and good showing KCC!! I wasn't really impressed w/ either team tonite. HC can't hit a shot outside of 5 ft and KCC played a 2/3 all nite long!!! KCC never came outside of the free throw line to guard because HC can't hit a shot!!! If this is the #3 team n the state this state is WAY down this yr. Neither team got any bad calls, very good called game from what I saw. If HC is #3 n the state then the 14th region has 3 of the top 10 teams n the state!!!!

Agree, I don't think Henry Clay is top 3.... Top 3 is Trinity, Ballard, and Madison Central IMO... I would say HC is top 10 and Knott is right there top 10 or 15... RIGHT NOW

Henry Clay is a top 8-10 team. Knott has a nice squad. The boys play well together and right now are the best team in the 14th and probably the mountain region. 14th will be awfully interesting especially if Cordia gets their studs eligible along with Hazard, Breathitt and Perry Central.

I watch the game and kcc only time they play 2/3 was in the 4th quarter. Henry Clay made shots outside of the 5 ft range. Because they hit at least 3 to 4 threes during the game. I guess a team is suppose to hit all threes they take. Again KCC dont get any credit. HC is not a top three team but at least in the top 8 in the state.

I was at the game and I thought HC got by with a lot of body contact and pushing and reaching on Justice. There was a couple huge 3 point plays that were clearly walks against HC. Roger Bacon got screwed as well. They got the 11th region final matchup they wanted but atleast they know who the Patriots are and I even heard Green tell Cornett after the game "Good game man and we will see you guys again in March". Henry Clay is the class of the 11th and Knott is the class of the 14th.

Knott is deserving of a top 10 ranking. If they had won the tourney they would have got one, but losing two games is gonna keep them from it. Even with the two losses they deserve top 15 but Mountain teams dont get much love when it comes to rankings. Regardless being recognized as top 25 team in the state is a great accomplishment for any team.
