The Belfry Pirates vs the Tug Valley Panthers will be aired tonight on Coal Country 96.5 WXCC. Scheduled tip time is 6pm. The Pirates are attempting to snap a nine game skid against the Panthers. This game is being billed the inside game of Belfry vs the TV guards.

What a match-up, two of the best guards TVHS recent history and one of the best big men in BHS recent history. Rabbit Thompson was perched high in the arena last night with a full notepad during the Pirates game against Cass, Ga last night. Randy Casey has watched Tug Valley already this year. Even with the size that TVHS had last year (6'9 Pack, 6'7 Vance, 6'6 White) they still struggled with Messer at times, now all three of those guys from the Panthers are gone. Wouldn't be surprised to see those talented guards try to slash in and go right at Messer and get him in foul trouble. If that happens, TVHS by 15, if Belfry finds a way to contain (not stop, you cannot stop those two) Newsome and Brewer, they have a chance in this one.

Also, 9-game skid, Pirates are 2-16 vs. Tug Valley since 1998, one win against them in the last 14 and a half years. Wow.
