Wow!!! 29 points for Breathitt. It looks like it's going to be a long year for the bobcats. It is a shame with all of the returning talent to get beat twenty points by Hazard. It seems like a reoccurring theme for the bobcats year in and year out, with the bobcats having talent and somehow wasting it.

Breathitt has talent but they have to get the offense going. Haven't scored the ball well so far. Alex and Wes have to get going on offense.
A 20 point loss at Hazard probably isn't that bad when you think about it. Hazard is the most talented team in the region and maybe all of eastern KY.

The more and more I thought about this Breathitt County team - the more and more questions I had about them.
I think this answered most of them...
However, this also posed a few more questions as well lol
Congrats to the Dawgs and Cats as they will only get better.

Twenty point loss and only scoring twenty nine points isn't so bad. Breathitt was the favorite to win the region. I hope the bobcats can turn things around but there is no way they should be playing this bad, I don't care how early in the season it is.

They are missing Fraley.Chaney is not the answer at center.Fugate better beg him back.Plus Trent saw limited action still nursing football injury. With him they will be much better.

This breathitt team is not the same as last years

Hazard missed so many lay-ups in this game... It should have been 30+.... Hazard lived on O backboard... Evan Whitaker and Chris Hudson was just too much for the Bobcats...

Breathitt will keep getting better as the season goes along. Denny's teams are always ready when the District and Region time rolls around. They will be hard to beat win it counts. I wouldn't count them out in December.

Hazard played good defense and shut down Breathitt's shooters. Good game Dawgs!

Congrats Hazard!!

Hazard is a very talented team.

Both teams did not play good at all!! So many easy missed shots by both teams !!! But Hazard with J. Olinger will be a hard team to beat !! Hazard and PCC will be the teams to beat !!

Favorite? No, more like one of the the 4 teams that people think have a chance this year (others being Perry, Knott, and Hazard).
I think they will get better as the season goes along, but I doubt they have the fire power to win it all.

No surprise to me.
Congrats Dawgggs

Hazard must be playing stifling defense looking at their scores.

I was at this game. Both teams played tight. However Hazard has more depth than anyone else in the region. Noble and Hamilton did not look like the players of a year ago. At the end of the season a year ago I thought Hamilton was playing as good as any point guard in the region. Last night he allowed Hardy to pick his pocket several times. I'm sure Denny was not pleased with this. Breathitt has talent but need to get more players involved in the offense. Also they do miss Fraley a lot. He gives them another big body inside and more depth which they desperately need. The season is early but Hazard definitely looks to be the team to beat. Peace be among us. Brother Cecil.
