Thought I'd post this since it was a heck of a game and snaps a long winning streak. Maryville had won 9 of the last 13 and 14 titles overall.
Furthermore, Maryville coach George Quarles is 193-13 (.937 winning percentage) in his 14 seasons, 62-4 (.939) in the playoffs and 9-2 (.818) in championship games.
Maryville's last loss came to Alcoa, 35-31, in the 2010 season opener. The Rebels won 43 consecutive games â still 31 shy of the 74 the program won consecutively from 2004-08.
What a game.
Whitehaven went for a 2 pt conversion in OT and got it to win the game.

To be honest, both of these teams would destroy every team in KY, and both would prolly beat Trinity. Trinity is the only one in this state that could give them a game.

The call that negated the two-point conversion was terrible. The referee called ineligible man down field, and the player was a yard from the end zone. It was a tough pill to swallow for Maryville fans.
