First off I want to say prayers for him and his family. Second off I want to say we all know he is and will go down as one of the greatest coaches in Kentucky football history doing something no else has ever been able to do win 6 in a row. With this being said I have a legit question will he be recognized for this state championship since he was not able to coach in the game?

Yes, as long as he is employed as hard coach, he gets credit for the win per the KHSAA.
