yeah, Trinity was down 14 to 0 at halftime. St. Xavier put up one hell of a fight for Coach Glaser in his last game. Trinity is not as amazing as everyone thinks they are this year. They'll win 6A

Congratulations Trinity!

First possession of the game for Trinity and Quick goes out on a stretcher. Wish him the best.

Someone said on twitter that James Quick was carted off on a stretcher for Trinity. I hope if true that it was only for precautionary reasons. Prayers go out to one of the best receivers this state has ever seen.

Rocks go to the strip club last night? Congrats on the win and to St.X on their game plan and keeping it close!

I hope to do the same. Now, if Mitch Barnhart would stop trying to be the moral police and hire the right man for the job, we could!

It's guaranteed he will not go to uk.

early word from a very reliable source
James Quick has a fractured femur (leg)
if that's the case then there's no basketball and track & field for him this year, will probably have to red shirt freshman year. that's a very tough injury to overcome. I really hope Im wrong

This was the only chance of Trinity losing, and it almost happened.
This was your 6A state championship.

I believe if PRP can make it that far and if they play good ball and dont turn the ball over and if they can bring the A game like they did in a few games this year then I believe they could give Trinity just as good a game as St.X
I know that is a lot of if's but I think it is possible.

Sad to hear X couldn't pull it off. I have all the respect in the world for Coach Glaser. I couldn't ask for a better mentor/friend.

You can put as many ifs in there as youd like.
It will still be a drubbing.
Dont get me wrong id love to see the ole underdog school pull it off, but it wont happen.

It sounds like Trinity has become the Yankees of high school football. Everyone respects them but everyone wants someone to beat them. That is high praise.
Personally, I hope they win. We have two true football dynasties in Kentucky- Trinity and Highlands. With the dismal history of UK football, we need some excellence somewhere. Trinity and Highlands supply some of it.

^ Excellent post Truth. People are too jealous to see that without Trinity and HHS, there would be zero relevance to college recruiting from our state. Those two teams keep the state on the national radar, otherwise, all of our states players would be stuck with EKU and Thomas More.

Trinity was down 14-12 at the half. After the first quarter, Trinity defense played extremely well. Trinity took the lead on the first drive of the second half. St X picked up one first down (pass interference call) and netted 11 yards of offense in the second half.
Walker went down for X late in the second quarter.
Quick has cracked ribs. Will not play football until the All-American All Star game in Texas. After that, he will rejoin the Rocks basketball team in their quest of another title.
St X db Dekota Jones has a bruised leg bone. He and Quick were taken to the hospital in the same ambulance!

I hate to hear about the injuries and wish the players a speedy recovery. Trinity is still a big favorite but the loss of Quick brings them back to the pack a little.
