Well if you read ALL the posts & not just mine you will see. But after the thread turned positive why are you still concentrating on the negative. Just pay close attention to the other posts instead of zeroing in on mine.

Oh i've read ALL the posts, not just yours. I've yet to see anything on here negative about anybody. I've looked at them ALL......i've seen "atmosphere", "feeling like your 7 points down coming off the bus", etc.etc. Nothing negative about ANY of those things. And i did also read....."I have a dream, it'll be a nightmare". Now tell me, where is the negative? Have you been to Log Mountain or Bell County before?
Coachdad, i've been on here a few years and read most of the threads about sports from almost everyone. I've read your posts before and I have agreed with you on things, until now. In my opinion that only takes away from the sport that these high school kids will be playing on friday night.

Yes i read that post, i've also heard it said about playing in "The Swamp" in Florida, "Neyland" in Knoxville, Tn(years ago of course) and high schools around the state for that matter. Its called a home pride thing, believe it or not Bell plays better at home as i'm sure Central does to. Most teams play better in front of the home crowd than they do on the road. Its called a home field advantage, it has nothing to do with anything else. That is the way i took it. I heard the same thing last year before Bell came to Louisville Central, never took it any other way but home field advantage.
When Kentucky plays in Rupp, they have a 10 point advantage by just being at home. What else could that mean?

The kids have EVERYTHING to do with this. Thats why WE ALL support these kids from Bell County and Louisville Central. If the kids have nothing to do with this then i wouldn't be on here talking about this.......If we as adults can NOT stop this foolishness of racism in general, than that is the way it will be forever. Point is Coachdad - nobody at Bell is going to hurt anybody. Central should not be intimidated by going to Bell anymore than Bell was intimidated going to Central last year. You will not find any better people. Your fans and players will be treated with respect. The cultures are different, but Bell fans love and appreciate good football just like Central folks do. Just enjoy the game.

We tried to book a venue but it was already reserved for the Harlan County/Bell County party

Seriously though, I wish this game were played at a different time slot or on Saturday so I could follow it. Going to definitely be keeping an eye on this one more than any other game this Friday.

Would you say the Bell players got a warm welcome last year, i was there and i have to say that the central fans was very welcoming at the game but as far as the players i cant say our boys recieved one. to start, playing the type of music (and i'm not talking about "rap" so don' play that card) that was being played before the game was awful. i believe i heard ever curse word known to man and then when our players came onto the field, walking by central warming up i could hear them being cursed at from the stands. i believe in some trash talking it goes on every where even on log mountain, but i have never heard or seen that type of behavior. i think it will be a great game on log mountain Friday and GO BOBCATS11

No it won't because I have a spectacular life that doesn't revolve around high school football ! & I'm not going to dislike good people over some kids playing high school football . Sheesh !
For most of these seniors they will be playing the last football games of their lives, because Kentucky doesn't produce too many college football players especially not D1.
