I believe this game will once again be decided by a late game turnover. The last two meetings have been decided by a crucial late game turnover. In "08" Belfry trailed the entire game against the bobcats but the pirates had the momentum and were driving deep in bobcat territory, when the pirates fumbled, sealing the win for the bobcats. Last year the bobcats forced a three and out against Belfry late in the third quarter with the score tied. The bobcats had the momentum but a muffed punt turned the momentum in the pirates favor and the pirates capitalized by scoring 14 unanswered points. This game isn't going to be any different than the past two meetings. Good luck bobcats. I will make my prediction later this week.

All should be back, despite PCC's poor sportsmanship.

If the bobcats play defense like they did against Pike central they will get beat three touchdowns. I know the bobcat defense is a ten time better defense than they showed. Bobcats are bad to play down to the competion level, but they also play up to their competion in big games.I not making excuse but they will be a lot better against belfry. Bobcats were flat and not ready and looking on to belfry. If we score some early touchdowns and play great defense and control the ball we can win this game. I didn't give the bobcats a chance in hell to win when Channing Fugate was a jr. But they did pull it off and they played the best defense they played all year. I know these kids and they will rise to the challenge and pull out the victory. But if they come out flat they will get beat by three or four tds

I love all this Beast from the East quotes.....if geography class still serves me right Belfry if about as far East as you can go in Kentucky.....nicker:
This will be a good game....usually is.....BUT Belfry pulls out the win between 14 and 20...too many weapons on the field for Coach Haywood :1:
THE all time winningest coach in Kentucky history and his Pirates head on for another State Semi at the CAM.

I'm not from Breathitt. In order to beat Breathitt you have to stop Trent if you can't he will rip your defense apart with passing and running with that said it should be a good game either way it goes.

Pulling to see Belfry pull this one out! Will always respect Belfry after the classy fans they brought to Lancaster for the State Semi-Final game last year. However, whoever wins, I would love to see them hammer Bourbon in the semi-final game this year.....that is, if Bourbon gets by Mason.

After talking with a couple of Belfry's assistant coaches today I have 2 questions: 1)I wonder how long it took Breathitt to edit out the part of the gamefilm that they exchanged with Belfry when Trent got hurt?? Numerous plays in the 3rd and 4th quarters were missing!!!!
2)Did Chapman install and run Belfry's offense just to give the Bobcats an extra week to prepare for the Pirates?? Its funny how you go from the shotgun, 4 wideouts, and trips formations to running the flexbone, counter trey, and belly series all in one week!!!!
