I really hope your team doesnt think like that. I mean Mayfield doesnt have a team the quality of Beechwood to get past to go to sub state. The wood will have yall shopping on black friday instead of playing football if they look past them. I will say i respect Beechwood alot but i am really pulling for Frankfort got family in the area and i would much rather travel there plus if Frankfort was to pull the upset then i got no problem with them getting a title. Better than Williamsburg lol! Going tell alot bout Frankfort tonight against Danville injured or not.

Whitekittything, glad to see you could join us again. All I'm gonna say about that is, we will give them that opportunity to play us. I don't know if Bwood will give them that opportunity, but we will. When all is said and done, it won't matter what you or I think. When the smoke clears after that game, if it happens, there will only be one of us still standing. I know what I think and I know what you think. Surely we can both agree on that. Fact of the matter is this. Williamsburg has to get through Hazard first, tough task. Then they will have to get through Raceland or Fairview and beat one of them on the road. Neither place is easy to win at. Neither have what I'd call the 2 td homefield advantage of say Putnam or Tank Stadium, but none the less, not easy places to go into and win. With the road they must travel to even get to the finals, they will have my attention and full respect if they can even make it to Bowling Green. If they do all of this and beat either Mayfield, Beechwood, or Frankfort, call Spielberg because we have an Academy Award winner on our hands! No disrespect, but the path to a state championship for any one coming out of the east is a rocky road. The top 3 teams in the west are seemingly much stronger than the top 4 in the east.

Raceland and Fairview may keep Williamsburg from making the trip to BG, but Hazard will be a tough task??? Are there TWO Hazards? The only Hazard I know of is the team that just squeaked by PINEVILLE last week.

If the Mountain Lions had just one favorable bounce or broken play fall in their favor, they would have beaten Hazard! Then would you think the Bulldogs were so tough?

I agree, if the Jackets win it all this year it will be the stuff they make movies about. It wouldn't be the Miracle on Ice but for the Jacket faithful, it would be close!

Well dude. Frankfort may do it Beechwood is in a rebuilding year even though they have a bear of a schedule. Got alot of ties to Frankfort and Franklin County so if the Panthers get there over the Cardinals i will pull for them. I will be honest with you though this Mayfield team is different than last. They are so balanced its freaky they are much closer to 2010 than 2011. Frankfort matches up offensively better than the other 1a school but I am not 100 percent sold on their D. Yes in have seen them play and have some contacts at Franklin County that tell me Frankfort gives up alot of big plays. If that is the case then Mayfield is a bit of a matchup nightmare. We can literally score from anywhere at anytime. We have played teams with explosive speed this year teams dont get much more explosive than Paducah. So i just feel like we match up really well with Frankfort and think we have an advantage defensively.
