Congrats Rebels !!!! Nice win !!!!

Boyle's quarterback has improved dramatically since early in the year. Early, he was missing on almost ever pass but against Mercer he was on target most of the night. Can't wait for the rematch with Catholic. I really believe Boyle will defeat Catholic in the playoffs even though the game will be in Lexington.

They'll have to win a couple of playoff games to get that chance.

It was nice to finally see a more balanced attack from Boyle for once. I'll agree that the QB was accurate all night. I'd like to see more progress from the defense, but Boyle dies look like it's getting better.

Laker20, I think both you and I pretty much know that Boyle's next major competition will be the Catholic game.

Rightfully so, Russell County fans feel overlooked and disrespected when not talked about when it comes to playoffs. However, while Russell County is moving right along they have still yet to prove themselves, even with the win against Knox Central, and that is because of their past experiences. They will plenty of opportunities to do so in this years playoffs. If you want the name you have to earn it.

I remember how good they were suppose to be last year, and got upset by Mercer in the first round.they maybe better this year, but if they want to be put on Boyle and Lex Caths level thier gonna have to earn it.in my opinion they have along way to go to get there.

You keep thinking that way.....and tell your players that as well.

Not asking for any respect, just warning this rebels team to not overlook us. Our team is a whole lot better than the Admirals..................just sayin.

The Laker team and staff will tell you that they spent more time on LexCath last season than they did on Mercer. They just expected they'd get past them and played their worst game of the season. Hopefully Boyle keeps thinking LexCath during the playoffs as well.

And just a reminder, We beat Whitley @ Whitley, who beat Somerset @Somerset, who spanked Danville @ Danville, who beat Boyle @ Boyle.........again, just sayin!
