Cellking Wrote:How many does Tom want to win by?????? That is how many they beat PCC

He has to be able to stop them every time to name the score.
Not guaranteeing a win or anything.
But to be able to name the score against a high powered offense is a tough feat.

I'm sorry I'm not cool enough to jump into a Harlan County and Perry County thread and start talking about District 7. You say that no one respects your opinion, but do you actually think for a second that anyone that's posting in this thread wanted to hear your rant? Here it is for everyone in case you didn't see it.

Quote:Just a reminder to all of you Harlan and Whitley fanatics that think you all will meet again in the regional finials. If I remember correctly every year you all think that is going to happen and let me refresh your memories for you, in 2009 alot were saying your district was much tougher than district 7 and Pulaski went on to beat Perry central Whitley and Letcher central to win the region-In 2010 Harlan beat Pulaski in Regional Finals and last season Southwestern beat Harlan county in regional finals. So in the last three years district 7 has won 2 of the 3 regional finials and has had a team in all three. My point being it is hard to win playoff games on the road and district 7 is a little stronger than you
people east of I 75 like to admit.

So when you guys get to talking about people pissing in my Cheerios I hope you realize that Mr. Meat Loaf was one of the main "pissers". He pissed in everyone's Cheerios in District 8 with his garbage and then said that no one respects my opinion. I say what is on my mind and I don't water it down for all of the pansies. I think that deserves as much respect as the cool kid that busted in this thread and started running his jaw.

Tell me this Meat Wad: when do you expect two District 7 teams to square off in the regional finals?
Harlan 55-24 over Perry. The second half will be the clincher Harlan,Cent just to much. I like to see Perry win but they play hard.

I was just explaining why my post was so stern
HC by as many as they want! Your out of line as usual. I've been reading this board for years, you are completely one sided!
By the way, you will be home playing your imagionary guitar while we are playing WC for the regional title!
The Commodores are gonna put a :ChairHit: on the Black Bears! I don't think that they can handle Perry Central's speed!

Perry Co. Central - 35

Harlan Co. - 21

^^
You chose against us last week too!!
I'm keeping up with your "predictions"!!
When will you ever learn???
Now wait a minute Granny Bear. I did no such thing. Below is my post from the prediction thread for the Whitley/Harlan Co. game.

' Wrote:Should be a heck of a game. Two of the most physical teams in this part if the state. IMO, the Colonels will not make it out of the deep dark hills of Eastern Kentucky alive! As they say in Harlan County, when the gates close, it's feedin time!!

Harlan Co. - 28

Whitley Co. - 20

The HC team gets no credit for their speed because we are a physical team that pounds the ball but if Middleton, Wilson, Long or Chitwood get in the open they will be nobody on Perry team that will catch them. Look forward to the game and the hype of the crowd but never overlook the Black Bear faithful as they will come out with their cowbells and root the Bears on week end and week out. Look out when Perry has to punt the ball because it would not surprise me to see Long take it to the house and a few Perry players be lit up on some hits. Good luck to all the players on both sides.

Perry Central's defense is better than Whitley County?
It sounds like a conversation I had last week before someone told me to watch some game film.
For Perry to beat Harlan County they will have to score on every possession. I do not see that happening. Harlan County's defense doesn't get the respect it deserves because it gave up a lot of points in the first two weeks, but that side of the ball is playing a lot better right now.

This may be the hardest hitting punt return I've ever seen. There has not been one return this year someone hasn't got jacked up on. Ask big Boss Bryant...

I tried to "quote" your post but couldn't. BGR Babe is up to her old tricks again!

Anywayyyyy, I publicly apologize as I was wrong. I could've sworn you predicted for Whitley Co...even went back and looked it up myself.

Geez, this is twice in as many days that I had to apologize because my mind is deteriorating!
Bear Paw, Wilson's hit against Boss was one of the best I've ever seen!! To his credit, Boss went off the field under his own steam, but we could hear the pads hit up were I was sitting.
GAMEDAY!

GO BEARS!!!!

Bears 45
Perry 21

LOL! It's ok. I was hoping everyone would catch that I was being sarcastic but, obviously not. I always route for Harlan County unless they're playing against one of the Somerset area schools. The Commodores really don't stand even the slightest chance of winning this game IMO. Harlan Co is by far the most physical team in their district and will be making yet another trip to the Regional Championship game.

My official prediction:

Harlan Co. - 49

Perry Co. Central - 14
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
LOSERS QUIT WHEN THEY'RE TIRED, WINNERS QUIT WHEN THEY HAVE WON
Everyone is discounting Perry quite a bit, but you have to remember there will be a lot of emotion involved with this game, and that goes a long way when it comes to high school sports. No matter the outcome tonight I expect both teams are going to play their asses off, good luck to both teams tonight and let's hope for a good, close, injury-free game. Safe travels to all Bear fans making the trip over the mountain.

I take it these are directed at me...

I simply tell it how it is, with the exception of ruffling all of the cubbies' feathers. I'd say anyone that has "been reading this board for years" can vouch for that. Perry fan or not.

And if you knew anything about me - you would know that my guitar is anything but imaginary - and if I get some time at work today I'm going to post the Black Bear fans a little song.
As a Whitley County fan I have to hope Perry wins because of standings in the district. But I am also realistic in saying that Harlan Co. will pull away in the second half and win easy.

Harlan Co. 48
Perry 22
