I do not want another Black Bear fan say anything about the Bell game again until it is time....we have a HUGE district game next week that will decide if we have home field advantage through the play offs.....it really ticks me off when worry more about playing Bell than worrying about winning the district and taking one game at a time....now that I am off my soap box, Whitley has one Hell of a team and is very well coached....if we take care of buisness next week I really believe we will see them again in the fianls fo the region.

I think the fact that Whitley gets beat by 4 TD's tonight, and is still considered to make it to the region championship shows how far down this region is this year...

The hit on Bryant on the punt was nice but some of the hardest hits I think I've ever seen in high school ball were going on with number 52 and Bryant. Both them boys are beast. But hope the colonels can move on after being taken to the wood shed, this whipping will be a hard one to get over. Congrats to Harlan for playing a great game.:why:

I've been wrong many times and at the end of every season I go over the ones I got right and the ones I got wrong. I do that every week on radio, actually.
You know who I am because I make it easy. It's a little tougher when you put your real name next to a story or prediction.

All of the Whitley County faithful know who i am, and i dont mind.
I'll agree that there were several members who were dead wrong.
But nobody was wrong for believing Whitley could win. It wasnt like Harlan County was having that much better of a season, and to be honest, the next game should be better, but that dont mean it will because this one should have.
I've admitted when im wrong on several occasions, and no matter what, im right back on here the next day everytime. Im not a "fair weathered" fan. I like to get under skin, but that's the point of having a message board.
Harlan County was my pick all year and i was right about that. I was wrong about the fact that someone in this region could have made it interesting. On that end, i was very wrong. But, theres still time for that to change.

I was pulling for my Colonels to win this one, but sounds like they ran into a buzz saw last night. I'm glad they might get another chance at the Black Bears in the playoffs. I have ties to both schools and hope to see one of them play my Purples in the finals. Wishful thinking on my part, but you never know.

Being from Whitley, you know some of the problems with the team this week i would assume.
However, complete domination by HC all night. I was waiting for the voice off Mortal Kombat to come out and say finish him!

Whitley Co is definitely better than they have been the past few years but, not up to par with the likes of the Black Bears! I do believe that Harlan Co silenced the doubters by taking the Colonels to the woodshed.
