1. Bowling Green- Purples take a bye to prepare for the slobber knocker on the 12th.
2. Warren Central- Dragons follow suit and take a bye of their own.
3. Mayfield- Cards might as well be taking a bye the next couple weeks as they deal with the necessity of district competition.
4. Henderson County- After taking a bye of their own the Colonels will retun to the grid iron this week.
5. Christian County- Colonels keep winning and their lone loss to Hendo is certainly nothing to fault them for.
Trending Upward:
Ft. Campbell- Dominating win over Tilghman makes them the cream of the crop out Wets in 3A.
Warren East- Undefeated and rolling. Raiders are doing everything they can to be the third school from Warren County in the Top 5.
Trending Downward:
Lone Oak- A pre-season "contender", the Purple Flash have lost 3 regional games including this past week to an under performing Owensboro squad.
Tilghman- Blue Tornado have lost 3 of their last 5, twice in blowouts, The latest was a game that was over in the 1st Quarter.
Game of the Week:
Hacock County vs. Owensboro Catholic- Aces are undefeated and frankly untested. Hancock's lone loss was in Week 1 to an undefeated Grayson County in a game that the Hornets equated themselves well. Winner emerges as the slight favorite for the best team in 2Aalong side Murray.
