Boyle might hang around for a half, but LC pulls away sencond half and wins by several scores.

I'll say LC by two scores over Highlands County.

I see this game as a toss up.I still think Boyle is alot better on offense than last year as long as they don't turn it over 4 or 5 times.our defense is not up to Boyle standards, but then again Lexington catholics defense isn't very strong either.who ever makes the fewest mistakes will win.I'll take Boyle in close one with the score being in the mid 30's.

Catholic doesn't like Boyle I could see their coach running it up here. Even with a big lead in the 4th he will keep the starters in.

That would show that LC coaching staff is not very smart, they know they are going to have a tough road in the playoffs with the likes of Boyle, Highlands and Cov Cath, it would be very dumb to risk injuries if the game is out of hand! If you do not like Boyle, then beat them and beat them with class. You do not want to be like a team like JC who had a couple really good years, but a coach with a very questionable reputation.

This game should be called The Highlands Bowl, since both teams are owned by Highlands.

I mean Boyle has ran it up on Catholic in a few games so if there coach gets a chance he will do it. Plus Boyle is no real threat to Catholic or for a state championship this year. Catholic also would only have to play Highlands or Cov Catholic not both so what ever he decides to do will not make their coaching staff look dumb. Even if a player did get injuried this week they have 8 weeks before they will be challenged again and that would again be by Highlands or Cov Cath.

Hide the women and children. Lock up your doors and windows. Put away your pet(s).... Cause BIG BAD Boyle County is coming to town. Should I put a " No Parking " sign on my front lawn so that the trucks with big exhaust pipes don't park on my grass?

OK in all fairness, here is my opinion. Lex Cath is good, not great but you all have to understand that their defense in not big, nor fast to the ball. They do ADJUST well after they get punch on the face in the 1st half. The last few games, they have been down in the score, but adjusted and ended up winning big ( Lafayette 42-7, Male 28-7, Madison Central 41-23 and Mercer 34-16 ). Noticed I did not pick a winner. It's going to be a typical Lex Cath- Boyle Co. matchup.... A GRIND

Really? When?
2009 21-13 and 34-20 Boyle
2010 42-10 and 45-35 Boyle
I saw the 2010 game on IHigh and Boyle just dominated them on the ground. hardly running the score up.
Most every game between these two is within a couple of TD's.
Lex Cath may want to run the score up, but it won't be because the Rebels "aired" it out on them or tried to put up tons of points.

You are correct. No one heres want to run up the score. Lex Cath might look like they might cause that's their offense PASS PASS PASS, short hitches, out route, quick slant, but no means Letton will run up the score. He might want to pad up the score just because he knows that Boyle Co is the type of team that can get points in a hurry.

Both teams are somewhat evenly matched. It just depends who wants it more. So I'm going with Boyle County in this one based on the fact that I do believe that they want to turn this thing around. Don't get me wrong though, both teams are going to be hungry.

Lol thoughts on Boyle. I have figured out why they aren't very good this year they got to be on call of the Wildman show and got the big head.

Who's there playmaker/ go to guy this season? They lost Cox and Hester and from what I've heard the Whittle kid has not been consistant and had to be removed for a freshaman QB (?)

That's one thing about Boyle this year: they don't really have that one guy who always makes the plays. However, they do have a few guys capable of stepping up and making plays on a given weekend. Last week it was Lloyd Hall, two weeks ago it was Whittle, Burke has been that guy on some games this season, and Robbins has shown some great explosiveness as well. For Boyle to win this week they will need all of these guys along with everyone else to step up and make plays.
We have yet to see Boyle play to their full potential this season, although last week was the closest I think they've been (with the exception of the first half at Highlands). This is a huge rivalry game though, so I believe Boyle will be firing on all cylinders, and when that happens they've shown they can beat any team in 4A. It should be a good game.

I would think that Bowling Green will give Lex Cath a challenge in 5 weeks.
