Have you seen the ad comparing Obama's acceptance speeches? He didn't change a thing so he was able to just repeat his orginal speech. nicker:

Obama 50%(along with a 51% approval rating) Romney 43%. Do you feel it slipping yet?

^ Not a bit. I don't take any stock in the polls. And after Obama's campaign tearing into gallup like they did, can't help but wonder...
If Obama had any sort of a lead, his handling of the situation in Libya will bring him back down. And that's IF.

I don't put much stock into polls. McCain had a lead on Obama at this point in 08, didn't he? Or am I mistaken?

If polls are at all accurate, how do the two come out when independents/moderates are polled? That would be interesting to know.
FWIW, I did hear that independents favor Romney by 14 points in a Gallup poll. I'm just not sure I heard it correctly. Would that be good or bad for Obama?

Polls tend to lean toward the democrats.
09-12-2012, 09:02 PM
^ If the percentage is that high (14 points) it would be very bad for Obama.

By independent do you mean people who don't memorized DNC talking points to parrot all day long, in lieu of a factual opinion?
