Problem is those teams have to agree to play the other school. Most teams that will play mboro will not play bell.

Not sure how much money this brings in, but it might be a good idea to scratch it (depending on what week it is in) and bring them into the Pike County Bowl. Please forgive my ignorance, I'm not a native of Bell, so I'm not to familiar with this.

Bell Co. and Middlesboro should be a very good game next year bc middlesboro is a young football team and bell is an older football team this year so hopefully they will keep bell and middlesboro playing... its great for the fans to see

Bell and Harlan Co. already play the next 2 yrs so they will not be in the bowl game.

You have to bring in 2 quality teams. But the problem is finding teams that will play Bell Co and then getting Middlesboro to agree to playing the same the next year. The city/county bowl will no longer be Midd and Bell playing each other they will have a regular season matchup is what was told from the committee members of the bowl game.

Moving the Whitley game to the city county bowl could be a great idea.
For example, put mboro and Corbin against each other as well.

Then you would have a true city county bowl with these teams playing each other, you might even throw in wburg and pineville as the third matchup and then you have the entire Whitley County and Bell County lineups playing each year.

Could be a HUGE money deal.
Just rotate the locations.

Thats kind of odd match ups considering all the other TN teams much closer to home like Claiborne and Cumberland Gap just on the other side of the tunnel and also the Morristown teams (west and east).

They would have to get better ones than that for Bell County. The Claiborne Co teams will never agree to play Bell. We need to invite quality opponnents.

We have had Ashland Blazer and Alcoa in the past in this Bowl Game.

Considering the financial impact of this game to Middlesboro, Bell Co and the visiting teams ticket sale are as important as the team you select. I like the TN schools Claiborne Co /Cumberland Gap Ideal for ticket sales and the Knoxville/Morristown schools for Competition but Whitley and Corbin are they best Ideals so far for ticket sales and fair and balanced talent... All travel well and the rivalry between the schools are great

I've always wanted to see it claiborne vs bell and cumberland gap vs mboro. Even if for just 1 yr. It would draw a big crowd and be a good money maker. Bell would whip either cghs or cghs, well this yr anyway but still. I m glad bell and mboro have been playing again. Unfortunatly bell has stolen all the talent out of pineville and mboro to make those teams uncompetitive but that's the way it is. Bell only cares about footballso I don't blame good football players going there.

Bell could get alcoa or maryville to come back but I doubt they would

Why mboro beat Bell 37 yrs in a row before bell built the new school on log mtn. Mboro is in a down trend right now it happens to everybody and will happen to bell sometime soon. People don't realize and I know first hand and up close, RIP but kenny roark after the 98 title just stopped caring, stopped disciplining, hired bad assistant coaches and just about destroyed the program. I knew kenny real well and mboro is paying the price for it right now.
