Have you all heard about the 6'3 shooting guard from TN enrolling at PCC next week?
I heard he is a lights out shooter and can dunk any way he wants to.

Assuming your not throwing false accusations around and there really is a kid from TN that is twice the player of Paige coming into PCC, i wouldnt be surprised to see some major fits.
The only way to rid this transfer junk is for teams to simply not play them in the regular season and break contracts.
So serious question, if there really is a kid from Tenn coming to PCC, out of the starting five for PCC next year, how many have gone to PCC since they started school?

Well without Johnson 4 of the 5 have gone to Perry County Schools their entire life. The other moved to Perry around 7th grade, but most of his family was from here and his parents where raised here. And since Johnson will most likely be taking his spot, it will still be 4 out of 5.

Perry will be better than people think they are. People from Knott,co said a few months ago they were the top dog in the region for the next few years but now they dont say a lot since Hazrd and Perry got new players, hazard to me will be the team to beat with Olinger,Hudson, and the big boy coming from Atlanta, Breathitt will also be hard to beat and Knott, also Perry will be right their. Should be a great regional at Letcher in March.

I wander if all the PCC locals feel used about right now, had to put with the Amos boys playing in front of talent better than them and now JP and company is doing more recruiting than Alice Lloyd College. I thought Perry County had talent, I guess no one is just taking the time to develop it, probably why Dougie Campbell is not at AB Combs. Go doors!!!!

Not mad, just honest, unlike PCC or the PcBOE!!!!

I see PCC as a top team in this region with the boy now. I am not going to say #1 because the teams are pretty even in talent between the top 4(Hazard, Breathitt, Knott, Perry), anyone of these teams can win, I am interested in seeing how quickly Spurlock can get the team to gel in his system and with new players. I want to see how good hazard will be with the team they return plus one or two new players. I know Denny will always have that team playing good solid defense and wonder how well Knott will be after losing a big leader on last years team in Davis.
This off-season has been great just can't wait till the regular season begins!

Could it have an effect on the Spurlock hire?
09-10-2012, 03:10 PM
^Anythings possible but I wouldnt think it would affect the hire. With the way JPA has supported the basketball team over the years I could see this hurting the program in the long run.

It is always funny to see how a subject can go from being about a player to being about my father. You always notice that it is people with a user name talking smack other than someone actually coming up to him and saying it. Can we please keep this thread on topic. Also OutsideLookingIn, please learn a little about basketball before you go bashing people and also learn how to spell their names correctly. Most people would agree that us Amis boys had enough talent to be in the starting line-up. We all did end up playing at the college level if you can remember correctly. Now I am a student assistant at Moberly Area Community College and my brother is a Graduate Assistant at Marshall. My brother and cousin Jordan were both honorable mention All-State.
