Public opinion deserves no spot in professional sports.
Just takes away from the game IMO.

Just makes you known as the guy who did that...

Instead of worrying about gay on gay love, take some of those millions and feed people who are out of work.

I agree with that, but neither happened in the realm of sports (IE press conference, team media)...It came about because Ayanbadejo has supported gay marriage and for years...and in fact him and Kluwe both have donated to different organizations that help take care of children. Adults that are hungry? Let them starve if they can fend for themselves and are still starving.

That wasnt my point.

I just dont understand why celebrities and athlets have to give there two cents in on everything. All it does is cause major problems usually, and just creates arguments.

This country would be a lot better off without media at all. Just a newspaper.

He DID go public, putting both his face as a Baltimore Raven as identifiers to the public! The fact that he used the Baltimore Ravens as his "PUBLIC" tool supports RIUTG's claim.

Brendan Ayanbadejo, a linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, finds himself in the middle of a political battle as the NFL season begins. Appearing in a video by Marylanders for Marriage Equality, Ayanbadejo added his voice to their cause.

"I'm Brendon Ayanbadejo, a linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens. I believe we should be doing everything we can to make Maryland families stronger, which is why I support marriagefor gay and lesbian couples who want to make a lifetime commitment to each other. People from all walks of life, including gay and lesbian couples, want their children to be in stable homes and protected under the law. Join me; it's the right thing to do."

Out of all the people though, who would have thought a football player on a ruthless team like the Ravens would come out and say stuff like that? lol

Were trying to get him kicked off Confusednicker:

Im a die hard ravens fan and to be honest, i had no clue what this guy beleived before this and didnt care, but since HE chose to go public with it, now it makes people judge.
He should have never opened his mouth.
