Dang. I wanted to see Boyle County win this one.

Called this one.

These Boyle kids really have an up hill battle now. 1-3 after being picked high in 4a rankings. These kids at Boyle have no idea how to deal with this. Boyle doesn't lose and it won't help that French is about to retire and looks like the Boyle County schools should of let him retire like he wanted because he doesn't look as passionate as he once use too. Next weeks game should help with their confidence because it should be an easy win but I think it will be closer then people expect because the lack of confidence these kids have to have. Good luck and get it turned around Boyle.

I know it is difficult to read scores as comparisons, but I can't help but notice Henry Clay played JH about as close as Boyle.

5 Boyle county turnovers = 5 John Hardin TDS.Boyle is not playing anything close to good football right now.Boyle lost leading rusher Seph Burke to a fractured collar bone injury midway of the second quarter.the only two bright spots i saw was the freshman QB who took over after the starting QB was benched in the second quarter, and Boyles defense didn't allow John Hardin to score in the second half.the only score John Hardin got in the second half was a interception return for a TD.the second half was Boyles defenses best half of the season.Boyles got alot of work to do if they want to win anymore games this season.

Boyle is done. They'll never win another championship. Especially if Highlands stays in their same class. Next years senior class at Boyle lost as freshmen to Highlands on their home field like 58-8. Boyle is finished. Write the eulogy.

:lame:
They'll be fine. The only surprise(mild one at that) so far this season has been the Danville game. They lost to Highlands and John Hardin last year. Why would this year be any different? Let's not overreact. They'll be fine. No point in worrying or stressing about non-district results.
Next week's game is winnable but it's not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Ky football is better if Boyle is good, but I think you're done.

They'll win it again. Just not in the next 2 years. And it has nothing to do with Highlands. Boyle didn't even make it to Highlands in November last year so it's pretty ignorant to say Boyle won't win state because of Highlands. Boyle has work to do just to make it to Highlands in November.

Naw, but think it if you want. Last time people thought that after a few down years we responded to show we weren't. We'll be all right and I am patient enough to watch the Rebels bounce back. They'll be fine.

What was good enough to win it when Highlands wasn't in your class, isn't good enough to win it when they are. Let's assume for a second Boyle reaches their 2010 level. They beat those directional school teams down that way and reach the final 4. Then Highlands comes to town and waxes you again. Boyle will never beat Highlands again.

Idiots are a dime a dozen. That's stretching it for Wideleft01.

Anyone close to the Boyle program will tell you that the 2011 and 2012 Boyle teams aren't close to the 2009 and 2010 teams but you can use those 2011 and 2012 as your template to measure the Boyle program. Considering the circumstances and Highlands and Boyle being back in the same class and Highlands dominance since rejoining Boyle's class I won't argue with your perception of the Boyle program. It's all good. We have beaten the best in our class to win state whether Highlands was in our class or not before. We'll do it again. Life goes on.

Wideleft just like's to get a rise out of fans. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't say the things he/she says.

I'm just pointing out the fact that Highlands owns whatever class they've played in since they've gone 2 platoon. They should rename Boyle county Highlands County since Highlands owns it. Heck Simon Kenton has more wins in Boyle County this year than what Boyle does.

You guys should put wideleft on your ignore list like i did last year so you don't have to listen to his bull crap.

Two things working against this years Rebel team. 1 is they are playing one of most difficult schedules in the state, and the 2nd is that they have hit one of those years everyone has in which they are "down" talent wise. I think the effort is there, it is the execution that is missing. I am still a fan of the Rebels.

Danville is in Boyle County.

I figured that one out. You would think the locals could too.

Yeah you're right! We should look into that! Heck, let's start a petition because I'm sure they will go for it! :eyeroll:

Enough non sense. Boyle County does have potential too get better. They shoot themselves in the foot week after week. Cut down on the turnovers and make some tackles boys! Come on.

Highlands would have rocked Boyle in 2009 and 2010 and I don't see Boyle reaching those levels again anytime soon. If Boyle wants to compete with Highlands, they are going to have to make a serious commitment to football.

Congrats to John Hardin. A better team than Boyle County. Still a lot of room for JH to improve and that is what makes this year very exciting. Can't wait to see them in the upcoming weeks.

As usual the 3 clowns of Highlands lands on a Boyle thread throwing out remarks we do not care to read. Boyle will be down but not out, the three teams they have lost to are all class football teams, sure Boyle could schedule lesser teams but they are striving to improve and set their self up for a big push (hopefully). To the rest of the Highlands fans and football players I wish you the best (except when you play Boyle) your program has all my respect and 99.9% of your fans are very respectful and gracious to other fans and teams.

Technically speaking they played at Danville. Danville is an Independent City and is separate from Boyle County in a legal sense. (If I'm not mistaken) So in other words, they have not been "in" Boyle County.
