Frankfort and Franklin County are coming off of wins, but who will take this one. This could be a good game.

This one gets down played by the coaches every year. It is good to see Franklin County's coach talk about it's importance in the local paper. Franklin County makes this one of their goals, to win this game. Any word on whether or not Jalen Washinton wil be playing in this game, after getting injured at Green County? If Jalen doesn't play this game is not close at the half.

FHS, has the speed to match the flyers, they are fast everywhere. Word around town is this year they have a better more physical line as well?? Is that true???

I think this will be a great game. I have watched Franklin County twice this season and seen Frankfort once.
Franklin County offensively is a fine tuned machine. They have done a good job of working the Franklin System. I think the have an edge. Defensively they are average. I was at the Hills game and felt Hills ran the ball to easy against them.
Frankfort seems to be figuring out ways to score on offense. Something they haven't done the last 3 years. Defense is the bread and butter of the Panthers. They do some crazy things on defense.
So the question will be can Frankforts defense play with Franklin County offense.

this one has a lot to do with whether #7 plays or not. Saw him go down in the first half of the Green County game.Looked like a pretty good sprain. Any word on his status?

#7 will play! Even though coaches down play this game make no mistake about it they both wanna win on either side. I think both teams need to be tested for the good of the season. So I hope its an all out war friday night, I wanna get a good value out of my ticket!!!!

he also COULD play Friday. That is what I'm hearing. I think the Flyer staff will air on the side of caution and prepare for him to play.

This one should be a dandy

This one should be a great game. Speed on both sides. But still going will Franklin Co because of the numbers they have.

Never thought I would say this but here goes Franklin County. Running clock. Panthers need to look ahead to next week and stay healthy with no ejections. Flyers offense=touchdowns

This must mean that #7 is not playing.

Franklin Co. opponenets are 1-7. Frankfort opponents are 2-6. Not sure either of these teams are great, but Franklin does have 2 legit D1 players in their QB and Timmons. Good 5A teams should hammer good 1A teams.
Franklin Co wins 48-21.

What is the word from the Flyer camp? How are the teams looking, what are the plans, injuries????:yikes:
09-05-2012, 02:17 PM
Flyers have no injuries, they look good, and they plan to win!!!!
09-05-2012, 07:39 PM
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me..... Jalen is good to go let do this thing. I change my vote. Panthers by 7. Screw the flyers!!!

I guess time will tell. Choose your words carefully though. We are talking about 14-17 year old kids.

No contest. Franklin Co. by 30

You're either with us or against us this week. No room for cowards! We don't cross those white lines to be sacrificial lambs for anyone. So don't put "the river rats" in your statement it's "us river rats". Man up, the flyers can't play any better than they have already.
