Corbin made a nice showing against tates creek last week, but this week I dont think it's in the cards for the hounds. They are going up against a tough team that beat a good Boyle County team last week. Danville puts the beat down on corbin in a blow out:ChairHit:

Corbin needs to win the battle up front like they did last week against Tates Creek. Corbin had 259 yards rushing to Tates Creek's 93 and and had the ball on offense for 24 of the game's 36 minutes, thus keeping their high powered offense off the field, so hopefully the offensive game plan will be the same.
Corbin must cut back on the mistakes(penalties cost them 2 scores and they also had 2 turnovers inside the redzone) to have a shot at the win, plus maybe calling some plays for the QB to run the ball. The pass protection must get better when they do have to pass the ball as well.

After Danville destroyed Boyle Co. last week, their mojo is WAY up. Admirals by a few TD.

I agree 100%. It's not likely that corbin will win this game, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. Danville is the too good of a team for corbin to keep hurting themselves with turnovers and penalties. They will need to sustain long scoring drives and contain the Admirals speed. With that said a flawless game by Corbin still might have them on the losing end.
BTW there are 48 minutes in a high school game, so if we had 24 min T.O.P then so did Tates Creek.

You're right, Corbin had the ball 32 minutes to Tates Creeks 16.

The sad thing about Corbin is that they really believe they're a football school. I've seen them play good basketball, but their football team is usually a playoff disappointment. Danville names the score.

Corbin considers themselves an academic school that has good athletic teams, which includes football. The football team has won 4 regional championships, been region runner-up 4 times and state finalist once in the last 10 years. A lot of people may be disappointed over that, but that's not really too bad.
