Why would u say u personally don't think he should be eligible? If they follow all the rules and he moves with his parents then it should eligible no questions ask in my book.

running_clock Wrote:Well if you transfer for athletic purposes it isn't a legit transfer and imo that would be the only thing this move is for. unless he jumps on twitter and says he is moving to play ball it can't be proved but I think this transfer is for sports purposes. That is me thinking in a perfect world
I see what ur saying and u prob are correct.

A player left ER for SV {a district foe} after practicing with ER for weeks and after the dad told the ER coach" He is a better coach than you are" When I pointed this out I was beat to death on this site All they have to say is PROVE the move was sports related. I thought telling a coach I am moving her because he is better than you is sports related.

Johnson to perry! Old news!
09-04-2012, 08:15 AM
The family moved Saturday. I know I talked to several people at the game Saturday which included several players and parents who said they were glad Spurlock left. It was not a secret that Johnson was going to follow Spurlock so thats not big news

Is Preston LeMaster heading to Sheldon Clark? I seen it on facebook. It was posted by Sports Xpress. Don't know if it's true or not though.

If the KHSAA can't see that this move was for athletics only then they need to just completely do away with bylaw 6 and not have any transfer rules.

This goes back to proving it was for athletic reasons. Khsaa isnt mind readers(BIG SANDY NEWSPAPER IS THOUGH, LOL) and its very hard to prove that he transferred(IF he has) because of athletic reasons. I know it looks fishy but thats just the way it is!!!!!!

This is the United States, you should be able to go to school where you want to. Even though I hate to see Perry kids get hosed, its just a part of life. If someone is better than you at doing your job, you are going to get replaced or demoted. Thats just life. Sometimes life sucks but you gotta play with the hand your dealt. Keep on working harder and try to get some PT.

No fear at all. Just honestly wondering who else, if anyone, is coming.
To be honest just trying to decipher if there is actually someone coming or if that statement is just being thrown out there in the hopes that someone else does come and then the poster that said it looks like he has some good info.

This one isn't for sure and I don't want to spread rumors about the kid. Ill just say that there is a kid that would like to move to perry and play under spurlock. To drop a little more info I'll say this.
This kid won't have to move far.

Hard to prove...maybe. But a coach leaves and a players mom finds a job in the same system and her 6'6 stud son transfers all within 1 week...Fishier than pond full of carp!

All things considered though you can't blame PCC,Spurlock, or Johnson if this all works out. PCC is getting a good coach and a great player and Spurlock is taking over the best job in eastern Ky.

Best program in Eastern KY, other people will not agree with that statement, that is totally opinion based. If you are the best program in Eastern KY why not hire up instead of down.

Perry is consistently one of the best teams in Eastern Ky if not the best.
I know they haven't won a state title...
but name a few schools that are consistently better than Perry.

And the opinion is right!!! Since PCC began in 96 they have always been very competitive in there region. I think about 9 out of the 17 yrs they have been in existence they have been regional champs. Not bad and I think it's safe to say its the best job in eastern ky as far as bball goes. Please tell me if there is a better job in this part of the state. By the way it also pays bout $90 G's a year......

What ever. All of Eastern KY seen this coming. I know nothing was final at the time, but also it was probably a done deal minus the dotting of the i's & crossing of the t's.
He should of told his players sooner. Before the paper even had a chance to spill the beans.

If you have to win a state title to be the best job in eastern Ky, then hell only Shelby Valley is on that list. That makes no sense! The pay is great, the perks are great, the administration supports you,and in eastern Ky coaches and teams are evaluated by trips to RUPP.PCC is always a contender and IMO the best basketball coaching job in Eastern Ky and I am not a PCC fan just stateing the facts as they pertain to the PCC Job..

I was talking about recently. But an unbelievable team! I believe PCC beat SV and Paintsville the same year that they won their state titles.I could be mistaken though.
